The Eclipse

Chapter seven

Days passed with Shindo out and 'busy'. Hinata was always relieved whenever he got home and not see bottles scattered everywhere. The silence was eerie but reassuring. No shouting, threats or insults for 3 whole days.

Untill one night Shindo came home with the same 4 men that was supposedly his 'friends'.

Hinata Pov

As i was scrolling through my phone ignoring the chaos from the groupchat i heard car engines stop right infront of the house. My breath hitched and i tried to calm down. 'this really isn't the perfect time to approach my razors!'.

I stayed as quiet as i can still trembling from their low voices laughing.

'Shindo brought 'friends' maybe he'd be too busy to deal with me'. I thought as i got out slowly went to check natsu's room. It was locked she's already asleep. I sighed in relief only to be startled by a loud crash.

I heard empty glass bottles shattering before heavy footsteps started going upstairs. I scrammed towards my room locking it.

I want to run away. I wanna run away from him  with natsu.

I panicked and yet i couldn't move from the door. Part of me saying if i moved i die.

'Im so weak'

'Pathetic!'

'He was right...'

Before i knew it Shindo was already facing my room knocking...no scratch that- banging the door repeatedly. I hesitated but opened it cause i don't really want him to get Natsu instead. As if we had the choice to run away either.

As i met dull brown eyes and hair without wasting a second he grabbed my orange locks and dragged me downstairs harshly that i almost tripped.

Eyes stared at me as if i was a prized possesion ready to be shipped out. 'Wait...their not gonna take me away from Natsu are they?!'

I started trembling visibly as wide grins covered their faces. I stepped back only to be held by Shindo on my shoulders so tight that i winced in pain.

"This is my son, Shoyo. And i assure you he's great. Even pefectly filling in Akari's flaws."  Again with that proud-father act its horrifying!

"Yeah, unfortunately your toy died in an accident." Tears threatened to fall out as the unknown man's words squeezed my heart.

'Mom was never actualy happy...'

" She was actually pretty good at begging too." The other guys laughed at Shindo's comment on his late wife.

'I doubt he even considered her as a wife either'.

Guilt started to overwhelm me when one of  the guys, the hooded one pulled out a handkerchief and before i knew it i slipped out of conciousness.

The last thing i heard was chains clanging against each other.

Daichi Pov

Its been three days now since i confronted tsukishima. I also found out that suga knew as well but decided to leave it since they figured he was still grieving on their loss. But something is bothering me- no 'us'.

We decided not to tell anyone yet and keep an eye on hinata.

*Flashback*

"Tsukishima can i have word with you?" I said with a possible hint of authority. Tsukishima realized the urgency and agreed before we walked out of the gym.

"Wait! I'll come too!" Suga just appeared out of nowhere and walked with us outside. I knew he knows something but i coudn't make it out yet.

We arrived at the clubroom making sure to lock the door. Even though everyone went home now exept for Yamaguchi waiting at the gate.

"Tsukishima..." i started making him look at me. He waited for the question while sugawara was fiddling with his fingers. 'He's worried?'

"Do you like hinata?" I asked bluntly before silence engulfed the room.

"Huh?" Tsukishima grunted in confusion and disbelief. "What makes you say that?" 'He's annoyed'

I sweatdropped at his reaction while sugawara barely hid his laughter earning a glare from tsukishima.

"Then why do you keep staring at him i mean at practice you seem to read every movement he did."

"Hinata is acting strange." Tsukishima said which i didn't understand. After that both of them shared what they knew with me still trying to process every thing.

But we can never be sure. Hinata just lost his mother. That was the obviously painful reason behind it...
