What's wrong with that girl?

ARYA

"Wake up, Ari! You're late!" my mom said, more like yelled while shaking me.

"What time is it?" I groaned

"See for yourself!"

I blew the hair out of my face as I opened my eyes to see the time, which was hard because of the light shining in my face.

"What-" I was shocked to see I was a hour late "why didn't you wake me-" I stopped talking as soon as I looked at my mom, who was kneeling beside the bed with a bedhead. I swear to god I don't know who the parent is at this point.

"Mom, stop sleeping on the floor! you have work, go and brush your teeth or something!" I said while pushing her into her bedroom and handing her a brush.

She's lucky she's adorable.

ELVIN

I sighed, smoke coming out of my nose and mouth from the cigarette. The sky was so grey, it was going to rain soon. I took another puff of the cigarette. The tree I was leaning on started making noise from the wind, I looked at my watch. looks like I'm late.

I started walking until I saw a girl running straight into me.

"Oh goodness, I'm so sorry!" She gasped. well, that's kind of an overreaction but whatever.

"It's whatever" I started walking until I heard her voice once again,
"Wait!" She yelled running back to me.

I turned around "What is it?" It came out ruder than I wanted it to be.

"Um, you shouldn't be smoking here" she pointed at the no smoking sign and continued "It's not only dangerous for you but it affects other people too, you know." she smiled, clearly nervous.

I scoffed at her words "Look, there are no other people here than you so, I'm not affecting anyone but you. And if you don't wanna be affected, leave." I took another puff of the cigarette.

"Well, that's just rude, mister."

"Deal with it" I smirked

Before I could say another word, she took the cigarette out of my hand and ran away

"What the-"

"You shouldn't cuss, mister!" She turned around smiling before running even faster. She even dared to wave.

"What's wrong with that girl?"

It started raining, as expected. My luck is trash.

ARYA

Phew, that was scary, I did a good job, I guess! Atleast I won't meet him again. The rain interrupted my thoughts. I forgot my umbrella, great, good job ari!

As much as it seems like it, that was not sarcasm. I can have fun plus I'll have an excuse as to why I was late. Luck's on my side once again!
