I had already gotten ready for the party, While Val hadn't even decided what to wear
"Do you want me to choose?" I asked, hoping it would work like the last time
"...Sure." that's all Val said before getting up and sitting beside me.
I looked at her in disbelief. She gestured to the wardrobe, giving me a go-ahead look.
I smiled nervously and slowly started to choose for her.
I could hear her chuckle as I walked to the wardrobe like it was some scary animal.
I had finally chosen after about 15 minutes.
She slowly walked out. I looked at her in Aw. I did a good job!
"What do you think?" She asked, giving me little twirl
"Valerie Winston, you look beautifull!" I beamed
She looked away, hiding her blushed cheeks and smile.

We left in Val's car "So...A guy named Devin is coming too? Also that jerk Elvin?" She asked curiously
"Yep! I think you've met Devin. Do you remember the guy who hit on you? That was Devin. He's a nice and friendly person. And about Eli...I think you already know." I chuckled, looking out the window
"That was Devin?" She asked with surprise.
I hummed in response.
"We're here. I see Elvin's car. He's already here, I guess." Val said while getting out the car
"Woah, it really is a big party." I giggled in amusement
Val knocked on the door. the door opened, revealing a smiling man.
"Welcome, Valerie! And...Ari, I believe?" He looked at me with an apologetic smile
"Yes, That's me, indeed!" I smiled as I stepped in
"I'm Cameron." He introduced himself as we walked in
I saw Eli and and Dev outside where the pool was, I took Val's hand in my hand so she wouldn't get lost and dragged her with me.
Dev was talking to some people just beside the pool. And Eli was sitting in one corner while using his phone. One thing that I know for sure is that, he's not sitting alone there like that because other people won't talk to him, it's because he won't talk to other people.
:AUTHOR'S POV:
While Valerie was freaking out internally because Ari was holding her hand, Elvin hadn't taken notice of the two girls coming his way.
"Fancy seeing you here, Eli!" Ari said in a playful tone.
Just from the voice he knew who it was. He sighed and stood up "White. Valerie." He nodded in acknowledgement and left to get a drink.
