:AUTHOR'S POV:

As soon as Elvin realised what he was doing, he quickly let her go.

He cleared his throat and looked at his watch "It seems we're late."

In his office

Elvin closed the door as soon as he got in, leaning against it

He sighed

"You idiot, control your heart beat." He whispered to himself

Knock
Knock

His eyes widened and he walked towards his desk, sitting on top of it without a thought and holding any file that came in hand

"Come in."

"Heyyy, vinnie my man, how you doin'?" Devin asked as he sat down

"What do you want, Dev?" Elvin sighed, still looking down at the file

"Nothing. Just hanging out."

"This isn't some place you can just hang out at." Elvin looked at Devin and continued "Mind the way you're sitting."

He looked down at himself for a moment before responding "Mind the way I'm sitting? Mind the way you're sitting." He laughed "Although, it's sexy when you do it." He winked

Elvin rolled his eyes and got up "Thank you but I'd rather not hear the words 'you're sexy' out of your mouth."

"Well, too bad. You're sexy as hell."

He sighed "Leave me al-"

Knock
Knock

"Come in." Elvin said and once again sat down on top of the desk

"Hey, Eli!" Ari peeped her head out from behind the door "Oh hi, Dev!"

"Yes, White?" Elvin looked at her

"I got the files you wanted." Ari said while handing them to him, she turned around and grinned "Dev!" Giving Devin a high-five

Elvin scoffed "Again. This is not a place you can just hang out at."

Ari laughed, walking out and taking Devin's hand and taking him to her office

Elvin looked at their figures leaving "There was no need to hold hands..." He muttered to himself

Ari's head peeped out from the door once again, without Elvin's attention

"Eli!"

Elvin looked up at her, and bit back a smile.

"Yes, White?" He asked after taking a deep breath in

"You need to meet a client at 7'o clock." Ari smiled

"Yeah, yeah I know. The post-it notes are noticeable to say the least" He sighed

She almost walked away, Until a door squeak was heard
