:AUTHOR'S POV:
"So? What did you think of Grumpie? And his food?" Ari asked Elvin as soon as she got inside the car.
Elvin closed his eyes and took a deep breath in "It was cool..." That was all he said in response
"How long is the drive?"
"Pretty long. Have a good rest, Eli!"
Second destination - A Beautiful Park
"And why are we here?" Elvin furrowed his eyebrows and ran a hand through his hair as a clear sign of annoyance
"Cuz it's peaceful. You like calmness, right? Here you go!" Ari rested her hands on her hips and took a moment taking it in and smiled before leaving Elvin alone
Elvin failed to notice Ari leaving and just stood there with while weird questions took over his brain
'Have I seen this place before? Moreover, have I seen Ari before? Why the heck do I keep remembering ducks?' Elvin thought to himself
"Eli!" Elvin heard Ari's voice before his thoughts got even weirder "I brought something. Okay, um, this is a blanket we can sit on, I also brought some food, and an umbrella in case it rains. You can never be too prepared!"
Ari said as she laid all the stuff down on the grass one by one with a big grin on her face
Elvin looked at Ari and then at the things she brought "Are we.. having a picnic?" Elvin asked and when Ari nodded in response, he chuckled at first "that's...ridiculous!" He started full-on laughing
Ari tilted her head to the side a little in confusion "hey! This took alot of time.." That statement made Elvin laugh even harder. Ari sighed and sat down on the checkered blanket that she herself had laid out.
Elvin looked at the sulking girl and his laughter slowed down. He took a deep breath in and out and sat down beside her "Are you upset?" Elvin asked as his eyes looked at everywhere but her. When he got no response, he decided to look at Ari. Only to see her with the biggest smile ever.
Ari looked At Elvin with a teasing look and just said "I made you laugh." Before Elvin could reply "That was probably the hardest you've laughed since birth, huh?"
Elvin looked away from her and cleared his throat "No. It's not."
"I made the Elvin Emaldi laugh!"
"No, you didn't. The situation did."
"No, I did."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"No, you didn't."
"No, I didn't."
"Yes, you did-...Wait- that's just cheating"
Ari chuckled and shrugged in response "Let's eat!" Ari changed the subject to something nobody could decline
"Why are we the only ones here?" Elvin questioned with curiosity dripping from his voice
