"Ugh! Nothing looks good on me" my friend, atleast that's what I think, says to herself in the mirror.
"You don't have to be mean to yourself, I think you look perfect in that dress." I smiled
"Right. I know that! It's not me that's the problem" I chuckled at the confidence, she's not wrong though!
"How about we go shopping? I think that'll cheer you up" I smiled once again
"Girl, you're killing me! what do I wear to go shopping now!"
"Ok, ok. How about you calm down and I'll choose something for you?" I suggested
She inhaled through her teeth "Yep, I'm good. I'll just wear this-" she walked out
"Well, that was easy" I beamed.
ELVIN
I cringed at the coldness that hit me when I entered the mall. My thoughts got interrupted by the squeal let out by my so called 'girlfriend'
"Eeeeeeeekkk, I've been wanting this For ages! Thank you so much vin!" She kissed my cheek and left
"I heard they have the best ones, c'mon!" I overheard, since I was bored already why not evesdrop on their conversation
"I told you I'm not going in there, this particular guy keeps giving me the pervert stare." I heard a familiar voice
"Whatever! I'm going there alone then." The other girl huffed and left, leaving the familiar voice girl alone
"Be safe!" She yelled. wait, I remember that voice, oh no
"Her? Again?"
ARYA
"Be safe!" I yelled, worried about the guy in there.
I heard a mumbled "yeah, yeah" I could practically hear the eye roll. I chuckled, turning around.
Now, the boring part starts, yay to me!
My eyes roamed around the place, It is pretty cold in here. lucky for me, I love cold!
I spotted a familiar face in the crowd. My eyes widened, And some words I definitely shouldn't have said just came out of my mouth.
"Oh, it's the scary smoking mister!" These words came out louder than I intended them to be, Annnnnddd, great, I'm pointing at him. Why are you like this ari? To my luck, the people that turned around had quickly left.
Oh no he's coming straight to me, maybe he's just going inside the shop, nope- still coming straight to me-
"Heyy! My man! Oh look at that, looks like I've gotta go!" I glanced at imaginary watch on my wrist, and turned around, in a hurry to leave.
Until, I felt something grab my collar from behind. Yep- I'm screwed.
With all my courage, I turned around, ready to face whatever's coming at me.
"Heya, big guy! Isn't the weather amazing today?" I smiled
"No, it sucks, too cold."
Oh c'mon! This guy's impossible.
"Well, um, my name's Arya! A little hard for some people to pronounce, so, of course, you can call me Ari. What about you?" I beamed, hoping to get past this abomination.
"Elvin." He looked like a bomb waiting to explode.
"And....?" I raised my eyebrows, wanting a more detailed introduction. If he's a bomb, I'll just cut the wire.
"And I hate you."
Oh no, I don't know which wire to cut!
ELVIN
She's getting on my nerves. She gasped. Here it goes.
"Ok, first of all, rude. I was being nice, least you could do was be nice back! Second, You have a pretty name. third, You're scary, Stop looking at me like that!"
I'm surprised she said that all in one breath. I scoffed.
"Do you even know who I am?" I cringed mentally at the cliche line I just said, but you got to do what you got to do
"I may not know who you are, but I know what you are, want me to tell you? A self centred creep!"
Oh, she's so done for.
