DID YOU EVER WAKE UP WITH A WEIRD FEELING? That something was about to happen? When was the bomb in the hospital and Meredith Grey put her hand in to a patient, Elizabeth was there watching. She watched her friend put her life instead of the young paramedic. The feeling what Ellie had this morning wasn't it but she felt that something was gonna get down.

Entering the patient room with a group of interns, her eyes looking for her patient Heather. Smiling shortly at Callie before standing next to her when the door to the bathroom open. "You okay, honey?" Heather's mother asks her daughter.

"Yeah." The girl answered bent over so some of the intern's eyes widen. "Can you just help me... "Her mother hummed before helping her daughter in to bed.

"Scoliosis?" Meredith asks her eyes still fix on the young teenager.

"Look like a birth defect." Cristina whispers to her friend. "Looks like hell." The pediatric surgeon shot the intern man a warning look before looking back at the girl.

"What are you all staring at?" Heather turns around asking the interns.

"Really, if you expecting me to be the brave and heartwarming differently-abled girl, that isn't gonna happen, so go ahead and do your thing. " Bailey raised her brows at the teenagers little speech before calling Izzie's name and undoing the buttons on Heather's hospital gown.

"Heather Douglas, 17, past medical history of vater syndrome. " The blond says stepping forward.

"Which is?" The resident asks. "Vater syndrome is a genetic condition that affects the vertebrae, anus, trachea, esophagus, and renal system." The intern finished as Callie and Ellie walked behind their patient looking at her spine.

"Wow. Give this girl a medal. She memorized the whole acronym." Heather says sarcastically making Ellie chuckles.

"Which I assure you is a hell of a lot easier than living with it." The teenager says as Dr. Bailey buttoned up her gown again. "Stevens."

"Right. Um, Heather is- is in today for a lithotripsy to remove kidney stones and thoracoplasty to alleviate pressure on her lungs. " Izzie says slightly out of mood after what the girl told her.

"Can I ask- I-I know I'm just supposed to be here to remove a few ribs, but I'm wondering if you've ever tried anything more radical to treat the spinal curvature?" Callie asks.
