"WHAT NOW?" The brunet walks down the hall a pager in her hand, wearing her dark blue scrubs, Mark's question playing in her head.

Another few weeks passed and some things happened, like Thatcher's wife died and he blamed Meredith, making Ellie remember the time when it happened to her.

Doing the only thing what she knows was right, and also being the only of all the doctors who were watching the scene in front of them, she stood up for her friend, making sure she was okay and then kicking her father out.

"They paged you guys too?" Addison asks as she and Ellie walked to the group of doctors, standing in the E.R. Derek hummed smiling softly at the younger woman who stood beside him, now.

"Well, I think they paged all of us. " Burke said. "That can't be good." Addison says making Ellie nods.

"Sure it can." The blue eyed man started, his eyes fixed on the smaller brunet beside his once best friend. "He could be letting us know I won the race for chief." Mark finished making Ellie chuckles.

"Underestimating me, angel?" A grin playing on his lips making her look at him amused.

"Not today, he isn't." Dr. Bailey announced as she came to the group. "He's making his recommendation to the board tomorrow for chief of surgery and chief resident." Ellie's face in to a frown, not known what she was doing there.

"Why were we all paged?" The older neurosurgeon asks. "Oh, because search and rescue found those lost climbers who were on mount trainer." Bailey says just as chief Webber came to them as well.

"People, the climbers are on their way." He says. "Any specifics?" The youngest doctor asks.

"They found only three so far. One's still missing. They're reporting severe dehydration with traumatic head and chest injuries. Dr. Bailey, Dr. Torres you'll be my trauma team." The two slowly nod.

"Too bad not to have interns." Bailey says. "What?" Mark asks looking confused.

"Today's the intern exam." Ellie explains and he nods.

"You'll all have to do your own heavy lifting today. And if you see any intern, which you will, because they can't help themselves, turn them away until after the exam. The ambulances are five minutes away. It's time to do what we do best, people. Let's roll."
