FEW WEEKS HAS PASSED since Elli's accident, making everyone have an extra eye on her, especially Mark Sloan. The two were mature about the almost kiss in her room after her surgery and decide to ignore it, so Mark had his little flirting with the small brunet, and she showed him her bright smile like a prize.

Walking towards the interns when she left one of her pediatric patients, just as chief came to them as well. "Dr. Bailey, Dr. Green." A small smile in return from younger doctor, Webber greet the two.

"Chief, our Jane Doe is getting a new face today. " Mark flashed the brunet a smile as he walked to the nurse station, quickly looking her up and down, which she didn't see anymore.

"Well, that's exciting. How are you doing, Elizabeth?" Turning to the older man, the blue eyed one now standing directly behind her. "You didn't take much time off after-"

Cutting him off with another smile she starts. "I'm fine. Great actually, working is the best thing I can do right now. Saving tiny humans you know."

Mark chuckled, Ellie feeling his breath at her hair and on the end of her ear, making her shift her weigh from one leg to another at their closeness.

"Just like your father, right?" Her smile faded slightly as the words left chief's mouth, not getting unnoticed by the tall man behind her.

"Right." Mark noticing everything, how she started to nervously play with her fingers or the quick change of her mood.

Putting a warm hand on her waist catching her attention, and most of the interns especially the blonde one furrowed her brows at the pair. "Dr. Green would you help me with the Jane Doe, tinny human, you know?" A warm, thankful smile replaced the pout on the younger woman's lips as she nodded.

"Yeah, sure." Turning back to the chief who watched the two with an interest too now. "If you excuse me." With a nod and smile from the man, the two walked down the hall, Mark's hand now resting on her back.

"Did anyone else saw this or it was just me?" Izzie asks the interns and they all shook their heads.

"Izzie just shut up, for once let her be." Alex says before walking away leaving the blonde confused and offended.

READING IN ONE OF THE OFFICES, Ellie sipped from her caramel latte just as Mark leaned against the doorframe, watching her. Her brown curls were falling in to her face on one side, but they were pushed behind her ear on the other. Her eyes sparkle ever so slightly, making his too.
