A LOUD STEPS WERE HEARD THROUGH THE HOUSE IN SEATTLE. A woman was running down the hall to the bedroom, wiping the tears by the back of her hand. Another loud steps followed behind her, blue eyes with a broken expression once he looked in to hers eyes.
"Maybe we should sit down." He sighs. "Talk." She throw her hands in to the air, letting his clothes fall to the ground.
"Is there something to talk about?" The man stepped closer to her catching her smaller hands in to his.
"I love you." Ripping her hands from his she closed his suitcase, walking from their bedroom down the large hall.
"We talked about this, Jackson. " Turning around at the start of the stairs she met his eyes. They were so broken.
"I like you. And I can see my life with you, as the perfect couple they always told us we'll be." A step closer to him, he pressed his forehead on hers.
"Don't, please. Don't break my heart." More tears were falling from her once calm brown eyes, a pout on her lips.
"But I can't love you." Taking the step back, the man's eyes filled with tears. "Not the way you want me to. " Sighing as he did few moments ago she pressed a hand to her forehead, at the place just were his was. "Not the way you need me to."
Struggling slightly to deliver the suitcase down, the blue eyed man not making it any easier. "Ellie, hey." Catching her face between his hands, their eyes met. "I'll wait for you. Do you hear me? I will." Shaking her head she opened the big front door pushing him and his things out of their house.
"You won't. I'm telling- I'm telling you don't wait. It's not worth it."
Closing the door behind him, pressing her back against it just after she locked the door, her cries the only sound in the house, her eyes locking with the small velvet box on the kitchen island.
Pressing his forehead against the front door, his eyes full of tears that were destined to fall just like the rain behind him.
And that was the moment where Elizabeth Green broke Jackson Avery's heart.
That was the moment where Jackson Avery made sure that he'll be always in Elizabeth Green's heart.
