COMING OUT FROM THE ON-CALL ROOM, fixing her two braids she smiled softly at the two nurses who walked around before closing the door behind the two.

"Thank you, for the consult, Dr. Sloan." The woman says smiling sheepishly at the man standing behind her.

"You can drop the act, angel." Kissing the skin right below her ear as he whispers in her ear. Suddenly their pagers went off. "I guess I can't."

A smirk found a way on their faces as they made the way in to the E.R. Mark opened the door for Ellie, she returned the gesture with a smile and closed the door right behind them, stepping in to the E.R. room.

"What do you got for us?" The man asks scanning the room. "Uh, Nancy Walters complete amputation." Meredith says, looking at the pair with furrowed brows.

"The baby looks fine, but she has some contraction." George says as the female doctor came to him.

"Hi, Nancy. I'm Dr. Sloan. Mind if I take a look?" Mark says looking at the missing arm. "It's clean cut. " Izzie says leaning over Mark making the brunet next to the intern tensed a bit.

"You want to rub up against me, you gotta buy me a drink first. Not that it would help in my interest in you, Stevens." The blonde looked at the man then at chuckling Ellie and decided to walk away.

"Hang antibiotics and put on a sterile, moist dressing. There's a chance at a good recovery here. Do we have an arm?" Mark asks looking at the resident on the other side.

"They're looking for it." Meredith answers, looking over Ellie's shoulder at the baby.

"My baby has no father. He's already down two arms. So he really needs me to have an arm. " Nancy says tiredly. "Get me that arm."

IN NANCY'S ROOM, with Meredith by her side, Ellie and the resident tried to calm down the distraught woman.

"My arm is gone." The brunet brushed few of the patient hair out of the way before she looked at Meredith.

"We have the arm, and Dr. Sloan is checking right now to see if we can reattach it." Meredith says calmly.
