CHIEF WAS STANDING IN THE NURSE STATION with Derek and Burke, Addison and Mark watching them when Ellie joined them, smiling shorty at her friends.
"Chief, hello." Ellie brought the man's attention. "I was thinking of heading to the clinic, you know show Bailey and Stevens some support." The small woman says still with a smile even when Mark came to her putting his warm hand on her back.
"Actually I was joining Dr. Green, you want to come with us?" Chief smiles at the two attending in front of him, both Mark and Ellie ignoring Derek's and Addison's faces.
"Very thoughtful of you two, Dr. Green, Dr. Sloan. I think I'll join you." Chief excused himself to the two men. Before walking in front of the pair. "Nicely done." Derek whispers to Mark as they passed them.
"To be clear you're buying me a hot chocolate for this, Sloan." Ellie whispers, leaning closer to her friend who chuckles. "Of course, angel." Smirk plastered on his face and smile on hers they both made their way behind Richard.
"You think there is something between them?" Derek asks watching the two walk down the hall, the man constantly whispering something to the woman making her blush or giggle. Addison shrugs watching them too.
"But since he got here... " The woman says walking to his other side. "... he had eyes only for her." Derek's face changed slightly on the thought of the woman, who was his bestfriend, and the man who once ruined things in his life.
"Even if it was true, he's Mark. He's whore. And she's Ellie." Derek says like it would explained everything but the redhead nods understanding. "She's sweet, she's kind and definitely his type."
The man's hands found their way to his face, covering his eyes making the woman next to him chuckle.

MARK OPENED THE DOOR FOR THE WOMAN and chief before putting his hand back on the small of her back making her blush.
"Dr. Bailey, congratulations on the opening of the clinic. " Mark says and Ellie smiled at Bailey. The doctor smiled in returned before her eyes slowly drove to the man's hand making her retuned to her work with a raised brows.
"It is open, isn't it?" Chief Webber asks as he saw no patients. Dr. Bailey shot him a look before the three doctors looked at the blond intern with tilled heads.
"Is she okay?" Ellie spoke up. "She's watching the door." Ellie nods slowly before excusing herself from Mark and walk to Alex.
"Someone's coming!" Izzie yelled bringing everyone attention. The smile left the blonde's face just as the door open revealing George and Callie. "Damn it!" Ellie shot the blond a glare before she smiled at her two friends.
