ELIZABETH WAS STANDING BY A NURSE STATION, filling up a chart when Mark came to her with hands in his lab-coat. The truth is he just didn't want her to see nervously fidgeting with his fingers.

"Hey," He said bringing her attention to him. "Hey." Elizabeth said with a bright smile.

"I was thinking, you know, with Lexie and James taking their relationship to the next level, they probably don't want us hanging out around the house anymore. So I was thinking if you would like..." Mark was cut off by Elizabeth's phone going on and ringing.

"I'm so sorry, Mark can we talk later?" She said, pressing her lips to his cheek for a second before pulling her phone out and walking away. Mark left out sigh before he turned his head to his two bestfriends who were standing by the nurse station as well, smiling to themselves.

"How much did you hear of that?" He asked the two.

"Well, you mean the part where she choose her phone over you or the part where you want her to move away from her home?" Derek asked, looking at the other male from the chart he was filling.

"Or the part where you choose me and my girlfriend as the reason?" James asked, raising one brow at him.

"Maybe it was important." Mark said, looking after Elizabeth's disappearing figure.

She was still holding her phone and the ringing made people turn around and look at her. She was holding in her hands, not picking it up just staring at it. It made her brother furrowed his brows as he watched her as well. They were a lot of people who would got this reaction from her but there was only one who she would not throw the phone against the wall for.

"Yeah, sure." Derek answered oblivious before he walked away.

THEY HAVEN'T SEEN EACH OTHER THE WHOLE DAY, until Elizabeth stood by the nurse station again when the same ringing tone started in her lab-coat pocket again. "Son of a..." She took out the phone before someone snitched it from her hand.

"Hey." When Elizabeth looked up she saw James looking down at her phone before his face lost color.

"What is this, Lizzie?" He asked as he turned the phone to her. She took the phone back and placed it display-down on the surface of the nurse station. James stood beside her as she ran her hand through her hair.
