IT'S BEEN WEEKS SINCE GEORGE O'MALLEY'S DEATH and although he was remembered no one was graving anymore. Lexie who was affected by the death a lot, had James by her side on all hours and until she stopped crying and even after he was with her.

Elizabeth met up with Derek, Mark and Alex on the O.R. when the resident came through the door with a sixteen-years-old boy.

Elizabeth was under a lot of pressure since Richard announced a merger with other hospital. The other hospital being non other than the Mercy West. When she tried to talk to the chief, trying to find a way how to stop it he shut himself in his office and hadn't come out, yet.

"I'm gonna scrub in." Alex said to the female before walking in to the scrub-room with a smile.

"So he announces a merger, and then he shuts himself in his office all day and refuses to talk to anybody." Derek said, looking down at the boy. He was pleased with the information the same as the younger neurosurgeon. "This merger won't affect us." Mark said so sure with his words.

Elizabeth shook her head with a frown, which Mark didn't notice but his bestfriend for once noticed the small movement. "It's just a financial restructuring." Mark continued.

"What do you think restructuring is? Cutting personnel. Are you prepared to lose all the good people? I'm not." Derek talked, neither of the men noticing how the woman grew quiet. "Hey, tell Hunt he's good to go. I'll write up a consult later." Derek said to one of the anesthetist.

"I'm gonna talk to Richard right now." Derek said, taking off his mask and walking out of the O.R. leaving Elizabeth and Mark by themselves.

"The decency he has." Mark mutter so only she could hear it. Elizabeth just giggled, making him smile before the examine the boy on the table a little more.

LEXIE WALKED OUT OF THE BATHROOM, looking down at her now clean scrubs before her eyes snapped to James who was charting by the nurse station.

Just a few moments ago he was talking with Derek about how Meredith and Lexie were worried about the merger. About how they'll gonna be fired or some of their friends will. The pair saw Lexie, running through the door, holding blood bags in her arms.

Right when she ran through the door she stumbled on her feet and while running she fell to the ground spilling the blood all over her.

In the talk with Derek, James also mention his sister who has been pacing around the house not able to fall asleep because of the same cause. Although he didn't mention anything about his past bestfriend or Elizabeth's boyfriend, the boy who was supposed to come in a few weeks.
