 season 6 episode 6 - I saw what I saw

But she's really pretty.

AS A HEAD OF PEDS, Elizabeth didn't have almost any job that night. She checked on her patients, took care of a few new ones before she was called in the E.R.

There was a boy, unharmed, waiting for her. And when she asked the residents what she was supposed to do with him when he wasn't wounded they told her to take him away and take care of him. That's what she was doing for the rest of the night. Few times she left him alone because she promised to check on his mother but other then that she spend the whole night with a really nice and smiley boy.

So how she happened to stand between Mark and Derek, looking at the floor with guilt. Her hair braided in to two braids and her lab coat long forgotten somewhere else. Mark hold her hand and softly rubbed his thumb over her knuckles. Sometimes they all raised their eyes to look at the residents and interns how they shoot daggers at each other.

"How long is this gonna take?" Elizabeth heard Alex ask. He was worried about Izzie all the time because they all still didn't know where she was or who she was with. He was tense and often in the past week came to the Bourne-Green house and kicked Mark out of Elizabeth's bed so he could lay in with her.

And she understood. She knew how it felt to be left behind, but on the other hand she felt a little bit for Izzie too. After all she left the love of her life as well.

"Why, you need to make a phone call?" Speaking of... Jackson asked, ironically, pissing off Alex even more. The residents still didn't grow to like the people of Mercy West. The attendings didn't have much of a choice but sometimes when some of them tried to stick up, they needed to be teach a lesson. Or that's how Elizabeth was doing it.

Jackson's friend beside him snickered and Elizabeth saw that Jackson bit back a smile. She didn't talk to him since their moment by the kids I.C.U. and neither did he. Neither of them talked to each other, though Jackson's eyes always seemed to find her in the room. And hers often find his, watching her every move.

As the sounds of thunder echoed through the hallway, Alex lunched forward and grabbed Jackson by his collar, picking him up from his seat. Owen as well as Derek, Mark, James and Elizabeth ran to them, James the first one to do something because he was standing by Lexie's chair so he was the closest to them.
