The dark blue sky
Covered with stars
Two shadows
Filled with heavy confessionsJoe's pov:
Kaoru was trying to walk on his own. Every time I tried to help him he would push me away. It feels like he still is rejecting my touch although I was happy to hear that he like being around me.
Confession number one.
But I wished he didn't contradict himself so much.
I walked behind him, making sure he doesn't trip and hurt himself. That would be troublesome. I didn't need to take him to the hospital. I was already tired.
I helped the princess to get inside the car before I entered. I started the car and headed toward Kaoru's house. He was dozing off, using the glass window as his personal pillow. He was drunk, he cried and screamed, I couldn't blame him for being tired.
"Get some sleep. I will wake you up when we reach your house." He nodded and closed his eyes. I looked at him and smiled. He was beautiful no matter how messy his face was.Everything about him was beautiful. Inside and out. He drove me crazy. I wish he knows how much I care about him.
Confession number two.
"Your highness we are here... wake up." I caressed his arm, making sure to not scare him. He open his eyes slowly, trying to adjust to the car lights, and started to get ready to head out. I jumped immediately from my seat and rushed to help him up. He was acting like baby.
"Come on, let me help you up." I suggested, offering him a hand. He accepted it quietly without making a fuss like earlier. We walked to the house and I grabbed his keys from under the flower pot. I been to this house more than i can remember. I know where everything is placed. I took the key and opened the door open. It was pitched black.
It took me a second to find the switch when Cherry rushed in and tripped, falling on this antic carpet. I ran toward him. "Are you okay Kaoru?" I asked, scared that he might have injured his precious fingers. He would have been depressed if that was the case. His work entirely depended on those fragile artistic fingers. If he had broken one of them he would have been suspended from work for a while.
"Ko... why am I this way?" He started to cry.
I was shocked. Was he hurt? Was it painful?
"Are you hurt Kaoru?" I grabbed him in my arm, bridal style, and he pressed his head in my chest not saying a word. "Kaoru answer me... are you hurt?" No response. He was holding onto my shirt tighter than before as if he was about to fall again.I took him to his room upstairs and placed him on the bed, carefully. Still grabbing onto me, he didn't let go. "Kaoru, want me to help you change?" I asked hoping this time I might have an answer. Our bodies were so close that I could hear his heartbeats loud and clear. "At least I know you are still alive" I let a laugh out, trying to soothe the mood.
"Why am I such a mess today?" He finally spoke.
I took this opportunity to ask him again if he got hurt anywhere since he won't let me inspect for myself. "I don't know princess... did you get hurt?" I asked once more.
"No..." he is whispered in my ear.
His breath was tickling my neck. It was warm. Damn it Kaoru, you are making it hard for me not to kiss you right here, right now.
