As tanjiro was carrying nezuko, he and rimuru were running towards the village or a nearby hospital,

And as nezuko attacked tanjiro, he was able to defend himself with his ax, but rimuru sensed an aura of loneliness and depression sprinting towards tanjiro and nezuko, he then jumped high as he was about to slash nezuko with his sword more like a katana but made out of an ore that rimuru has never seen before, in his world of course.

As he was about to slash nezuko, tanjiro got her out of the way.

"What happened? Who are you?" tanjiro asked the man in the mismatched haori.

Rimuru was standing idly by, he was lost in his thoughts as tanjiro and the man in the mismatched haori talked. After all this experience he has been through, he completely forgot about milim. What was she going through? Was she ok? We're the people around her ok?
Completely lost in his thoughts. He noticed that tanjiro was struck down. By the man in mismatched haori. Nezuko attacked him but he knocked her out with his hand.

Rimuru's foot was visible as he took a peek at what was happening, it was not unnoticed by the man in mismatched haori.
