what happen?

Four day later

Riley was discharged from the hospital two day ago. Riley had missed two day of school. So today Madison and Olivia are coming over to bring her homework.

"Riley. Olivia is here!" JJ said

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Riley said

"Hey." Olivia said as she walked into Riley room and sat on the bed

"Hi. I thought Madison was supposed to come." Riley said

"Yeah she said that you would come today, but she was at school today or yesterday." Olivia said

"Have you tried calling her?" Riley asked

"Yeah but she never picks up." Olivia said

"Okay i will try to call her later. Now let's get started on the homework." Riley said as they got started on the homework.

"Hey when are you coming back to school?" Olivia asked

"In two days." Riley said and then they continue to work on their homework.

A 30 minutes later Olivia and Riley were done with their homework and Olivia left. After Olivia left Riley decided to call Madison. The phone rang for a few minutes then it went to voicemail. She left a voicemail hoping Madison would call her back so then she just get ready for bed.

The next morning

Riley was starting to get worried because Madison had not called her back. Madison would always call her back. Riley was sitting on her back writing a paper for school when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." Riley said

"Ry-Ry mom told me to tell you that Breakfast is ready." Sophia said

"Okay. Tell mom I will be out in a few minutes." Riley said

"Okay." Sophia said as she walked out of the room.

Riley walked into the dinner room and walked at the table.

After breakfast everyone left. Amber and Sophia went to school. JJ and Emily went to work which meant Riley was by herself.

A little bit after the afternoon Riley was in the living room watching TV when there was a knock on the door. Riley walked over to the door and opened the door. She was surprised to see her girlfriend standing on the other side with a black eye, and a busted lip.

"Mads what happens?" Riley asked as she pulled Madison into the house.

"Shouldn't have come. Sorry to bother you." Madison said as she turned around to walk away but was stopped by Riley.

"Mads you are not bothering me. Can you please tell me what happens?" Riley is trying to get her to talk to her.

"My step father attacked me this morning." Madison cried.

"Hey It's okay. You're safe now." Riley said as she hugged her girlfriend.

After a few minutes they moved to the couch. When Madison finally stopped crying Riley started talking again.

"Hey Madison is this the first time your step father attacks you?" Riley asked

"No." Madison said

"When did he start attacking you?" Riley asked

"Whenever my dad has to go on a business trip." Madison said

"And how long is your father going to be on the business trip?" Riley asked

"Another month. I don't want to go back there Riley." Madison said as she looked at Riley.

"You won't have to. Right now i have to call my mom and mama, and you need to rest and look like you have not slept in a while. You can sleep in my room." Riley said as they walked into her room.

"Thanks Riles." Madison said

"No Problem. Now get some sleep." Riley said as she kissed Madison's forehead. Then she walked into the living room and called her mama.

"Hey Riley what up?" JJ asked

"Madison is here. She was attacked by her step father. Her dad is on a business trip and he won't be back until next month. It is not safe for her to go back to her step father house. So I was wondering if she could stay here till her father came back?" Riley asked

"Sure, but I have to ask your mom too, to see if it is okay with her too." JJ said

"Okay thank, you the best."

"You welcome sweetheart. I have to go right now. I see you later." JJ said

"Okay bye love you." Riley said

"Love you too." JJ said as she hung up the phone.
