Piper Pov

*about three weeks after they were all broken up*

Everyone turned their backs on us. All of our friends, and our siblings. Percy asked Cally out the night he broke it off with Annabeth, we had to lock her in her room so she wouldn't choke Percy to death. A couple days later we found that all our ex-boyfriends had moved on, mine to Natalie. Calypso's to Dixie, Will's to Ian, and Hazel's to Lexi. We were all heartbroken, they turned everyone against us. No one even talked to us anymore. It's like we weren't even a part of the great prophecy anymore. Their new girlfriends and Nico's boyfriend were.

Finally the last straw came when the gods took them up to Olympus and gave them our rewards for being in the great prophecy. The boys went with them as well; each of them became minor gods and goddesses. Soon after they personally banished us from camp. For no reason at all, our parents didn't even want us to come to Mount Olympus so they could explain or anything. They came down themselves without the boys telling us that we were a disgrace to the gods and were banished from camp. They told us we had two hours to get out of camp. They even went as far as telling us we weren't allowed in camp Jupiter either.

Calypso, Annabeth, Will, Hazel and I gathered outside the barrier with no "goodbyes" or "I'll miss yous" in sight. Everyone went on with their day like it wasn't going to be our last day in camp. We started walking into the woods not really knowing where we were going to go or how. Suddenly the air got colder, not like it did when Hades entered a room, but the temperature literally dropped. We turned around to find a strange man behind us wearing a hooded cape that covered his face.

"Who are you?" Annabeth inquired.

"I am known as Chaos, creator of the galaxies, but you may call me Father," he replied slipping his hood off.

Annabeth Pov

"Who are you?" I inquired.

"I am known as Chaos, creator of the galaxies, but you may call me Father," he replied slipping his hood off. Underneath it I saw the most interesting eyes I've ever seen: they looked as if galaxies lived inside of them. "I understand that you all were abandoned and betrayed by your so called 'friends'. Is this correct?" he asked.

"Yes it is," Piper answered after a little while of stunned silence.

"Well, I'm here to offer you a job of sorts." He paused for a while waiting for any response.

Will gave it to him "so what exactly would this job entail?"

He smiled, it was warm and fatherly like "I would like all of you to come to my home and become my elite guard. You would go on missions around the galaxies and protect each of them. Also you would each get a small portion of my power. There is a small ceremony that will allow for this to happen. During this though some things will happen, the first stage that will happen is your hightenment in magical power, you will practically become gods and goddesses. The second is unknown to me; anything can happen at this stage. Once a person who had no powers what so ever suddenly got the power to create life out of thin air, another got an extra set of arms. However there can be side affects to this. Now any questions?" he finished.

Of course I do I'm a child of Athena, but instead of bombarding him with them I looked to my friends and they all nodded. "When do we leave?" he smiled a warm and inviting smile.

"Right now."
