Chapter 1

Annabeth Pov

*About two months after BOO*

It started one day. I was called to go on a quest with Piper and Hazel. It was some stupid thing for Aphrodite, we had to get a 'magical brush' apparently it was helpful to straighten out relationship apparently but I'm guessing that she just wanted a fancy hair brush. I mean seriously this thing was encrusted with jewels galore, even Hazel said so; and she's brought up more jewels than she could count.

When we got back from the quest everything went downhill.

There were new campers when we got. When we walked into camp the new kids had gotten there a few minutes earlier so most of the attention was on them. Chiron saw us and waved his welcome, we all waved back. Percy saw me and came running over after getting Jason and Frank's attention.

"Hey wise girl," he said pulling me to his side and kissing my forehead. I blushed at the action but couldn't help but feel as if I was being watched. I lifted my eyes and looked towards the group surrounding our new campers. The girl who had straight blonde hair and a complexion similar to mine was glaring at me.

"Hey Seaweed Brain," I replied looking up at him. "Who are the new kids?"

"Oh well there's Cally," he said pointing to the blonde "and Natalie," he was pointing to a girl with brown hair and look like she was part native American "Dixie," he moved on to a girl who had amber hair and squinty eyes "Ian," he said pointing to a tall guy with a blonde crew cut hair and a dark tan "and Lexi," he said pointing to a dark haired girl with chocolate brown skin.

"Wow that's a lot of new kids, have they been claimed..." I started but was suddenly cut off by five glowing symbols. Each of them different in color, there was a dove, Hermes symbol, a looking glass, a flaming hammer, and a misty scene.

"All hail Cally daughter of Hermes, Natalie daughter of Iris, Dixie daughter of Hectate, Ian son of Hephaestus, and Lexi daughter of Aphrodite." Announced Chiron proudly. "We'll have a few of our oldest campers show you around. Percy why don't you take Cally, Jason please take Natalie, Frank take Lexi please, Nico why don't you show Ian around, and Leo please show Dixie around."

They all complied and went to their respective person to show around already conversing about the gods and goddesses they were related to.

"Do have to show Ian around? I'm not even one of the oldest here," Nico whined.

"But you are one of the most experienced, and we all know that you know every nook and cranny of this place Nico," replied Chiron.

"All right fine," he grumbled and waved to Ian to follow him.

Before I left to my cabin I told Chiron about the quest Aphrodite had sent us on. When I finished I headed towards my cabin and Percy stopped me and started to drag me off towards the water. "Ugh Percy I just want to go to sleep, please I'm gonna drop dead if I stand up any longer." I whined.

He gave me one of his signature smiles and chuckled as he scooped me up onto his back. "Ahh, jeez Percy you could have given me a little warning!" I giggled.

"What's the fun in that?" he asked, we had finally reached the dock he set me down and wrapped his hands around me so that he was stationed right behind me. I should have know what he was about to do, I'm a daughter of Athena for Hades sake! I felt his hands move to my back and push, hard.

"Ahh!" I yelled as I plunged under the water. Percy was standing on the dock laughing. I swam over to him and held up my hand for him to get me out, instead the Seaweed Brain decides that he is just going to jump in with me! He's so stupid sometimes.

That was the last time we were together. Together and happy at least.
