Annabeth Pov

*two weeks later*

"What do you mean? I thought we had a date tonight," I replied looking a little shocked.

"Look Annabeth I know we had one but Cally wanted some extra help with her sword fighting. Ok? We'll have it tomorrow I promise, I love you," he replied looking back as he walked towards the sword arena.

"Love you too," I replied even though I know he couldn't hear me. I walked to my cabin and thought of how he had slowly grown apart from me, slowly growing closer to her. She is the reason he's leaving me gods I hate Cally. He's been hanging around her and her crew for days now and along with him are Nico, Jason, Leo, and Frank.

I went to the volleyball court; it's where I've been meeting my friends lately. As I walked I saw Piper, Hazel, Calypso, and Will throwing a ball across the net. "Hey guys," I announced.

"I thought you had a date," Piper said looking my way.

"Percy thought it was a good idea to go help Cally instead." I rolled my eyes as they stopped their game and came over to me.

"Are you ok Annie?" Will inquired.

I glared at him "don't call me that, and yes I'm fine." Even though I wasn't.

"You know I've been noticing that our boyfriends are starting to go away from us," remarked Calypso. She and Leo had come home on a flaming Festus and everyone was happy to see them, even though Jason and Piper just about killed him. Percy now treats Calypso like his little sister even though she's way older.

"Maybe we should go talk to them," Hazel put in.

"Alright lets split and find them," I walked away to go see Percy. As I walked toward his cabin I heard voices coming from inside. I crouched down near a window and peeked in. I saw Percy sitting with a girl; he was blocking her face from me so I couldn't see her.

"Hey, don't cry. I'll break it off soon, ok? You know I don't like her as much as I do you. I love you, not her." Percy said. I had started to cry. I had never wanted to hear this from him, but I did.

"Promise me you'll break up with her Percy, please promise me." The girl pleaded.

"Cally, I swear on the river Styx that I will break up with Annabeth and go out with you," he replied. They stood up and hugged before Cally left to go towards her cabin. It looked like he was about to get up and find me.

I stormed into his cabin not waiting for him to come out and find me, "what the Hades Percy? I thought you loved me! I thought you actually cared! What is wrong with you!?" I yelled moving forward making him walk backwards and fall onto his bed. "Did you ever care about me Percy? Huh, well did you?" I waited for his answer. He looked at me funny then started to laugh. "You know what! I'll save you the breath, we're through Perseus Jackson!" I started to walk away but was spun around by my shoulder. Percy looked at me with his beautiful sea green eyes. He quickly leaned in and lightly kissed me, like he wanted too but yet he didn't.

"You aren't breaking up with me; I'm breaking up with you Wise Girl." He growled, forcing me out of his cabin and onto the floorboards of the porch that was outside all of the cabins. I looked up at him from the ground his face looked conflicted, like he hated me but loved me at the same time but couldn't make up his mind. Finally his face hardened and he slammed the door in my face.

I started crying and ran into my cabin. My siblings surrounded me, at first they were concerned for their sister, or even their leader, but I soon realized that they were angry with me. "What did you do Annabeth? Why would you break up with Percy? He's lucky he has Cally now, or else he'd be alone." That was what I heard as I laid down in my bed.

Fair warning the next few chapters are going to be very short sorry...
