Chapter 36

Percy Pov

We've been walking down the tunnel to get outside when I looked over at Annabeth, she looked even better that normal, I must say that she's aged well over the past five hundred or so years. She looks the same way she did back then, back when we were together. She looked over at me and smiled that beautiful smile I always loved to see and that I will never get tired of. "What?" she asks.

"Nothing, it's just that I'm glad you're never going to leave me again. That and I'm seriously considering judo flipping you," she laughed at my joke. I smiled at her laugh, I've missed that laugh. "I've missed everything about you Annabeth." I pulled her to the side and stopped her, "please don't ever leave me again. I can't deal with even the thought of it Annabeth, I don't want you to go." I put my face in the crook of her neck and stood there with my arms around her waist, clutching onto her. She put her hands on my head and stroked my hair, trying to sooth me. We stood there like that for a few moments just staying in each other's arms while we can.

"I would never leave you, not on purpose. And definitely not of my own free will. I love you Seaweed Brain, and I never will stop."

"Thank you Wise Girl."

I had already told Piper everything, repeatedly apologized to her, and kissed her multiple times. We were walking in front, Percy and Annabeth dropped back a few minutes ago they should be following us soon. If they don't, Hazel should tell us to turn around or something. I held Piper close to me, I don't ever want to let her go again.

"Jason, it's ok. I'm never leaving again." She said looking up at me.

"I know it's still scary thinking that you might leave anyways. I mean I don't think it'd be very good for me if you left again for so many years. Are you even immortal anymore? Cause if you aren't then I'm going to renounce my immortality." I was rambling I know it but I couldn't seem to stop.

"Sparky, stop. I'm still a Savior, Chaos won't renounce our immortality unless we ask, ok? He's like a second father to us all, like the type that would do anything for their kids." She took my hand in hers. "I'm not leaving, not soon." I smiled down at her, I want to stay with her forever.

Hazel was limping slightly, so I did the most obvious thing and carried her. Not as any animal or anything, I just gave her a piggyback ride. Her shoulder was still hurting her even after we gave her some ambrosia. "How are you doing Hazel?"

"I'm feeling better," she sounded ok, so that's good. I soon felt her head fall on my back, she must have fallen asleep.

"I promise you won't be hurt like that again," she shifted her head and snuggled closer to my back. I smiled at her small movement, knowing she heard me.
