Chapter 4: Dogs and Trolls

Hogwarts No POV

Draco and his cronies were walking through the castle the other students were as everyone was talking about Harry becoming the Gryffindor Seeker.

Draco: I can't believe that Harry Potter got so lucky as to not get expelled from that.

Crabbe: now you owe Wade 7 Galleons.

Draco: that's right. I just hope I don't have to run into him any time soon.

Goyle: do you even have the galleons?

Draco:<takes them out> of course I do. No way am I going back on my word but I want to keep them for a little while.

Wade:<walks by and takes them> thanks, Malfoy. I was gonna go look for you to get my money but you were nice enough to bring it to me.<pockets the galleons and walks away>

Draco: darn it.<walks away>

Tonks was walking with Penny Haywood, a human golden retriever of a person that is in Hufflepuff as well as she had blond hair, fair skin and baby blue eyes.

Tonks: so he betted with Malfoy about Harry Potter's expulsion!

Penny: really?

Tonks: yeah, he was so sure about it that he betted money and now he won. It's like if he could see the future!

Penny: this I must see to believe.

Tonks: i wonder if he can see the answers for an upcoming test we're having in Transfiguration Class.

Penny:<giggles> maybe.

Ron and Harry walked past them.

Ron: Seeker? But first years never make the house teams. You must be the youngest quidditch player...

Harry: in a century, according to McGonagall.

Fred and George walk over to them.

Fred: hey, well done, Harry. Wood's just told us.

Ron: Fred and George are on the team, too... beaters.

George: our job is to make sure that you don't get bloodied up too bad. Can't make any promises, of course. Rough game, Quidditch.

Fred: brutal. But no one's died in years. Someone will vanish occasionally...

George: but they'll turn up in a month or 2!

Ron and Harry separated from them.

Ron: oh, go on, Harry. Quidditch is great. Best game there is. And you'll be great, too.

Harry: but I've never even played Quidditch. What if I make a fool of myself?

Hermione:<runs over> you won't make a fool of yourself. It's in your blood.

Hermione took them to a Quidditch trophy case where there was a plaque that said "James Potter. 1979 Seeker."

Ron; woah. Harry, you never told me your father was a seeker, too.

Harry: I... didn't know.

They went to the moving stairs as they got on one that was about to move.

Ron: I'm telling you, it's spooky. She knows more about you than you do.

Harry; who doesn't?

They all held on as the stairs started moving. Harry grips into the right rail, Hermione into the left rail and Ron tries to balance in the middle.

Harry: what's happening?

Hermione: the staircases change, remember?

The staircase locked in place as they were in front of a door.
