Chapter 2: Return to Hogwarts

King's Row Station No POV

Wade and Tonks sat in a compartment as Penny and Ben joined them.

Penny: you guys think we are going to see something new this year?

Wade: considering how this is a new year and is the classes one level higher then yeah we are going to see something new in the classes.

Penny: no I mean something new around Hogwarts.

Wade: maybe. A new Defense against the Dark Arts Teacher considering Quirrel died last term.

Ben: I hope it's someone nice maybe it's Gilderoy Lockhart.

Tonks: Ben, please don't tell me you actually believe what he's saying.

Ben: why wouldn't I believe him?

Wade: oh I see. Muggleborns are new to the magic world and believe every word in the books.

Ben: so...

Wade: what he wrote is not true. Banshees, Yeti, vampires, and he doesn't have a single scar? He just wrote that to boost book sales.

Ben: or maybe he's so good that he didn't get a scratch on him!

Wade: I don't believe this.

The Train departed from the station and they were halfway towards Hogwarts.

Wade: Second Years can enter Quidditch Teams right?

Penny: that's right. Don't tell, you're gonna sign up?

Tonks: I never took you as the Quidditch type.

Wade: well I need to do something since there isn't a dueling club. More like hasn't been one for years. <looks out the window> please tell me I'm not the only one seeing a flying car with Potter hanging out the door.

They all look over and immediately paled.

Tonks: no we can see it too.

Wade: good to know.

They see Ron helping Harry back inside as the car flies off.

Wade: they're in so much trouble.

Ben: how are you so calm right now?!

It wasn't long before they arrived and they took carriages to Hogwarts while the first years took the boats to Hogwarts.

The same thing that happened last year happened this year, a few words, first years getting placed in houses, Ginny got Gryffindor like the rest of her family, banquet then off to bed but Wade noticed that neither Ron or Harry were at the banquet the entire time.

Filch:<walks over> Torchwick, Professor Snape wants to see you.

Wade: not even the first day and I'm already in trouble, great.

Wade follows Filch to the dungeons as everyone else were already going to their Common Rooms. Filch leaves after Wade steps inside Snape's office.

Wade: yes, Professor.

Snape: Torchwick, I have a task for you.

Wade: what kind of task, sir?

Snape: you somehow found out about the Stone last year and had some kind of network to find more clues about it, correct?

Wade: you could say that.

Snape: I need you to keep an eye on Potter and his friends to see when they're up to no good.

Wade: I'm guessing it has something to do with the flying car?

Snape: how did you know?

Wade: it was flying near the train on its way here and I didn't seen Ron or Harry at the banquet so...
