Chapter 7: The Plot Thickens... in blood.

All the students were back from Winter Break as Wade was already done with school. Don't get him wrong, Magic was surely interesting but he didn't really like the process which he had to learn said magic. And he had to deal with it 6 more years.

He was currently in the library alone as Penny and Tonks were doing Hufflepuff stuff and Merula didn't really want to go inside the library unless it was to study for a test. He was on one of the tables that was connected to the bookshelves as he saw Ron and Harry sitting together studying as Hermione walked over with a big book.

Hermione: I had you looking in the wrong section. How could I be so stupid?<slams the book on the table and sits down> I checked this out weeks ago for a bit of light reading.

Ron: this is light?

Hermione:<gives him a quick glare before she found the page she was looking for> of course, here it is! Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker of the Sorcerer's Stone.

Both: the what?

Hermione: honestly, don't you two read?

Wade:<thought> that's because they're not nerds like you.

Hermione: "The Sorcerer's Stone is a legendary substance with astonishing powers. It can transform any metal into pure gold and produces the elixir of life, which will make the drinker immortal."

Ron: Immortal?

Hermione: it means you'll never die.

Ron: I know what it means!

Harry: shh!

Hermione: "the only stone currently in existence belongs to Mr. Nicholas Flamel, the noted Alchemist, who last year celebrated his 665th birthday." That's what Fluffy's guarding on the third floor. That's what's under the trapdoor- The Sorcerer's Stone.

Wade:<thought> that dog's name is Fluffy? I bet it's Hagrid's.

Wade waited for them to leave before he left himself to not look suspicious. He found Merula pointing her wand at Ben to scare him but Wade just grabbed her by her hood and dragged her away to the Artifact's Room.

Merula: what is it? Can't you see that I'm teaching that Mudblood a lesson?!

Wade:<bonks her head>

Merula: ow!

Wade: say that word again and I'll make it hurt more next time.

Merula:<rubs her head> what?

Wade: I know what the three headed dog is guarding. Also what it's name is.

Merula: really?

Wade: it's the Sorcerer's Stone.

Merula: really? What is that?

Wade:<scoffs> you know for someone who claims to be the "Most Powerful" witch at Hogwarts, you really are not up to date with legendary magic substances.

Merula: well sorry that I can only read so much before I fall asleep from boredom.

Wade: whatever. That stone is important and the three headed dog is guarding it.

Merula: a stone? Really? That's it? I thought it was a jewel of infinite power.

Wade: jewels are stones.

Merula: well...

Wade: whatever, Potter and his friends will break more rules to keep that stone secured from the person who will try to steal it.
