Chapter 2: The Dementor

Diagon Alley No POV

Wade and Tonks did went book shopping as they also got themselves fitted for new robes since their old ones were already becoming a little too tight.

They did find some of their friends like Penny, Skye and Ben. No Merula, Ismelda or Barnaby yet. Wade just wanted to go back home and train or even sleep but he was stuck in the Leaky Cauldron due to a killer being loose.

When they went to get the Monster Book of Monsters, the one behind the desk almost cried but he got surprised when Wade just sticks his hand in and pulls one out. He actually needed to do this three more times for his friends and all he got in return was a bunch of bite marks on his hand. His friends just looked at him in embarrassment as he just bandaged his hand and it looked like he was wearing a glove made of bandages.

Meanwhile

Harry got out of his room after packing his stuff and dealing with the Monster Book of Monsters and sees a very puffy cat chasing a very familiar rat as he knew who were downstairs and went down to see his two best friends arguing while holding their pets. Hermione it seems got herself a pet cat.

Ron: I warned you, Hermione! Keep that bloody beast of yours away from Scabbers, or I'll turn it into a tea cozy!

Hermione: it's a cat, Ronald. What do you expect? It's in his nature.

Ron: a cat? Is that what they told you? It looks more like a pig with hair, if you ask me.

Hermione: that's rich, coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush! It's all right, Crookshanks. You just ignore the mean little boy.

Ron:<sees Harry> Harry!

Hermione:<turns around> Harry!

Harry sat down with Ron and Hermione as the Weasleys came down and joined them as Ron showed Harry the newspaper of his family going to Egypt.

Harry: Egypt- what's it like?

Ron: brilliant! Loads of old stuff, like mummies, tombs. Even Scabbers enjoyed himself.

Hermione: you know the Egyptians used to worship cats.

Ron: yeah, along with the dung beetles.

George:<walks over with Fred> you're not flashing that clipping about again, are you, Ron?<takes it>

Ron: I haven't shown anyone.

George: no, not a soul.

Fred: not unless you count Tom...

George: the day maid..

Fred: the night maid...

George: the cook...

Fred; that bloke that came to fix the toilet...

George: and that wizard from Belgium.

Wade:<walks over and takes the newspaper> we get it, Ronald likes to show off one cool thing to everyone.<looks at the clipping> Egypt? I hope you were all careful not to unleash a curse on yourselves.

Ron: speak for yourself.

Wade: you had to go there.<walks to his room>

Tonks:<hits the back of Ron's head> you had to bring it up? We agreed before we left that we wouldn't speak of it at all.

Ron: sorry but...

Tonks: I don't want to hear it.<walks after Wade>

Hermione: nice job, Ronald.
