Chapter 6 Christmas Party Warning

It was time for SlugHorn's Chirstmas Party as Merula wore a green dress that showed her shoulder with no straps, it reached all the way down to her legs and she wore gloves that reached her biceps. She was getting her final touches ready as Ismelda was already ready wearing a black dress that basically covered her legs as she covered her shoulders and chest with a medium size jacket.

Merula: you're wearing more make up.

Ismelda: so?

Merula: just saying.

Ismelda: you know we might as well enjoy some of our moments here. They won't last long.

Merula: let's not talk about it.

Ismelda: Merula, you, Draco, Barnaby and I know that if we don't do what the Dark Lord wants then...

Merula: I know. I know. I really don't want to think about it, this is like my opportunity to have a romantic moment with Wade.

Ismelda: so you-

Merula: yes I have feelings for him! I admit it! Happy?!

Ismelda: sorry.

Merula: we're not even out of the common room and we are already sulking.

Ismelda: you know, I used to dream of being a supporter of the Dark Lord.

Merula: why?

Ismelda: I guess it was me wanting to be a Dark Witch but now... Torchwick changed my life.

Merula: how so?

Ismelda: him and I don't spend any time together since I always want to be alone but he accepted me into the group without any problems. Making me feel part of a group.

Merula: Wade has that kind of aura of him without even realizing it.

Ismelda: let's go or we'll be late.

Merula: alright.

The girls went down to the common room couches to see Barnaby looking very impressed while Wade is shuffling cards.

Ismelda: um... what are you two doing?

Wade: Barnaby wanted me to see into his future.

Merula: why the cards?

Wade:<whispers to her> I make it seem like they're fortune telling cards but they're just playing cards with a fancy design.

Barnaby; so what's my fortune?

Wade: <flips the cards Barnaby chose> you will... have a happy life with a woman you never knew you will be close to.

Barnaby; yeah?

Wade: yeah. Anyway, should we go?

Ismelda: yes we should.

Barnaby and Ismelda walked off first.

Wade: you look beautiful.

Merula: thanks. So do you... I mean you...

Wade: I know what you mean, don't worry.

Wade and Merula walked to where SlugHorn's party was at as Wade stopped as he saw Draco sitting alone as he walked over and patted his shoulder.

Draco:<looks at him>

Wade: Don't look so gloomy, it's Christmas. You should rest.

Draco nods as he stayed there for now. They went in as Wade looked around and it was the typical people standing and talking while waiters were walking around with plates of snacks and drinks.
