Chapter 5 Supper and Quidditch Rage

SlugHorn's Supper Party No POV

Slughorn: so tell me, Cormac, do you see anything of your Uncle Tiberius these days?

Wade, Merula and Penny were at SlugHorn's little supper party as Andre rejected the invitation. They were sitting next to each other with Penny to his right and Merula to his left. Penny and Merula were in some nice yellow and green dresses respectively. Wade has a polo shirt and a jacket on.

Cormac: yes, sir. In fact, I'm meant to go hunting with him and the Minister of Magic over the holidays.

Slughorn; well, be sure to give them both my best. What about your uncle, Belby? For those who don't know, Marcus' uncle invented WolfsBane potion. Is he working on anything new?

Marcus: don't know. Him and Dad don't get on. <eating his ice cream very messily> probably because me dad says potions are rubbish. Says the only potion worth having is a stiff one by the end of the day.

Wade:<whispers to Merula> by the way he is eating, I'm sure his dad is as sloppy as he is.

Merula:<whispers> I know.

Slughorn; what about you, Miss Granger? What exactly does your family do in the Muggle world?

Hermione; my parents are dentists. They tend to people's teeth.

Slughorn: fascinating. And is that considered a dangerous profession?

Hermione: no. Although, one boy, Robbie Fenwick, did bite my father once. He needed 10 stitches.

Wade: she means that they basically used a needle and string inside his mouth because apparently he ate too much sweets... <looks at Marcus> like ice cream...

Marcus:<stops eating>

Wade: you can imagine the pain when one of your teeth is basically ripped out from your mouth. All because you didn't floss very well.

Marcus:<puts the spoon down>

They heard the door opening as Ginny came in a black sparkly dress.

Slughorn: ah, Miss Weasley. come in, come in.

Harry was absolutely entranced on seeing Ginny so gorgeous as Wade just went back to his ice cream.

Hermione:<whispering> look at her eyes. They've been fighting again, her and Dean.

Ginny: sorry. I'm not usually late.

Ginny approached the table and Harry stood up like a gentleman, maybe.

Slughorn; no matter. You're just in time for dessert, that is, if Belby's left you any. <chuckles>

Ginny sat down as did Harry.

Hermione:<looks at him>

Harry; what?

Hermione: nothing.

Penny:<whispers to Wade> Harry definitely likes Ginny.

Wade:<whispers> of course.

They all went back to their ice creams as Cormac was trying to seduce Hermione but of course he failed. Later, SlugHorn said goodbye to all his guests.

Slughorn; goodbye. Bye-bye. <closes the door>

Wade: well that sucked.

Penny; why did you even agree to come?

Wade: because I wanted something different that didn't put anyone in a life threatening situation. Why did you two come? Andre was the smart one, he's in Ravenclaw.
