Chapter 7: Follow the Spiders

Hogwarts No POV

Wade hid Tom's Diary in his stuff without anyone noticing as he goes down into the common room, now that the students are not allowed to leave the tower other than for class it was way more packed. However some students use this time to either catch up on Homework, take naps or just find anything to do in the common room.

Wade sat on an empty couch just looking at the fire as he hid the black veins in his arm because he wasn't really sure what it meant. Merula and her group walked over to Wade.

Merula: Torchwick, we have a lead.

Wade: honestly I don't think I even care about the bet anymore.

Merula:<breaths in and out> It's not that. I actually think we should just get rid of the bet all together and work together.

Wade:<looks at her> did you drink special butter bear or got hit with some hallucinating spell?

Merula: what? No, I mean it. If we work together, we can solve this faster since you have been cut off from your buddies in the other houses.

Wade:<sighs> fine.

Merula: look, our idea is to follow Potter and hope he leads us to a clue or maybe a big lead to whoever is behind all this.

Wade: I see.

Ismelda: the problem is, we don't know what is Potter's next move.

Wade: the most logical thing is to ask whoever was alive 50 years ago to tell their side of the story and how did it happen.

Barnaby: there are a few people that meet that description and I don't think Harry will go ask Dumbledore.

Wade: Hagrid was a student 50 years ago, and if you remember last year, Merula, he has an invisibility cloak.

Merula: of course.

Barnaby: he has one of those?

Ismelda; how does he have that? Those are like one of the rarest magical items ever.

Wade: it doesn't matter, we just have to sneak out, catch him and Weasley heading to Hagrid's and force them to take us as well.

Barnaby: at what time?

Wade: we just wait here, act like we're asleep and sneak out. We just have to wait until everyone leaves.

Later that night, Wade, Merula, Barnaby and Ismelda acted like they just fell asleep in the common room as no one bothered them as some students take naps with these new rules in the common room. Wade opened his eye and tap the other three as they all headed out.

They were in casual clothing as Wade wore a fingerless glove on his left hand to cover the black veins and they headed to the Gryffindor Common Room entrance and waited. They saw Harry and Ron get out with the invisibility cloak as Wade and Barnaby grabbed them and took off the cloak.

Harry: Wade? Merula? Barnaby? Ismelda?

Ron; what are you four doing?

Wade: look, just like you we want to find out who is behind this so we decided to go with you to see if you have any more clues.

Harry: I was shown that Hagrid was the one who opened the Chamber last time so maybe he knows how to open it again.

Merula: are you sure we're talking about the same Hagrid?

Harry: look, trust me. We just gotta ask him where it is and how to open it. Then we can tell the teachers.

Ismelda: but that won't solve who is behind all this.
