Chapter 3: The Return

Platform 9 and 3/4 No POV

It was just another day in King's Row Station, very grey than previous times. More than normal.

Merula arrived first of Wade's friend group, she looked... less like herself. She was worried about Wade but she won't admit it, less to her Aunt. Maybe seeing Wade again will ease her worries but she wasn't sure, especially since she heard from the others that the Ministry has been attacking Dumbledore and Potter. I mean they did send Potter to a Hearing just for Underage Magic, if that doesn't sound like attacking then she doesn't know what.

How did she and the others find out about this? It wasn't hard to know when they just put two and two together that Fudge wanted Harry to stop spreading "lies" about Voldermort's return to other people, mainly students. Students that can be influenced to fight back against the Dark Lord or in Fudge's mind, against the Ministry.

Back to the present, Merula sat in a compartment alone as she was joined by Penny, Ismelda, Barnaby, Chiara, and Talbott. In that order.

Skye and Andre were elsewhere and Tonks sat with the Golden Trio, why? They arrived together. Ben sat with Neville.

Merula: any word or sight about Wade?

Talbott: not any that we haven't considered.

Ismelda: we will probably see him at Hogwarts.

Merula: maybe you're right.

Barnaby: worried about him?

Merula: no. Just wanted to duel him again to make sure my rival didn't go soft.

Penny: considering he is a wanted criminal for no reason, I doubt he went soft.

Barnaby: wherever he went must have been a really good hiding place for the Ministry to not find him. I wonder if he will look pale with white hair and the mismatched eyes?

Ismelda: that will be some sight. Different from what we are used to seeing him as.

Merula: black hair like the night sky and black eyes like Onyx gems.

Penny: what?

Merula: nothing!

They all knew Merula had feelings for Wade, it was very clear like day. She was just a Tsundere.

The train started moving and their way to Hogwarts was... anxious. Very anxious. Not knowing if Wade will truly be there at the station waiting for them or inside Hogwarts where it's safe. They just couldn't wait to see him. The ride felt as if they were heading to prison, which Hogwarts will sort of become soon.

They arrived at the station and got off, they heard Malfoy taunting Harry again which didn't surprise them one bit. Although they were surprised when Potter was being more hostile, guess he got tired of the lies and attacks against him.

They were going to get a carriage to get to Hogwarts but something compelled them from moving. Something. They just let everyone else go.

???: why are you all looking gloomy?

They recognized the voice and turned around to see Wade, they expected him to be pale with white hair but he still had his normal skin color with black hair, the eyes are what is different about him. Other than that, he was their Wade.

Chiara, Tonks, Ben, Barnaby, Penny, Skye, and Andre all ran and tackled him down in a hug. They were all glad to see him, Ismelda, Talbott and Merula just watched the group hug as Wade saw them and gestured them to join in which, while hesitantly, they did. And the weirdest part of all?
