Chapter 8: Hydra Animagus

It has been a while already since the Winter break ended and this year's Yule Ball along with it.

There has been some people that became couples thanks to the Ball while some people either broke their friendships or just started hating each other.

Merula, Tonks and Chiara were no different. Their feelings for Wade grew larger. Tonks because he said yes to going to the Ball with her and saying how she was his first choice. Merula because they kissed in the lips and she enjoyed it very much. Chiara because on how gentle and caring he was with her when she said she didn't know how to dance. Even if Ben was her date.

Speaking of Ben, the group all stayed the same except for Penny and Skye. Those two blushed every time they see each other, the others worried when they sat away from each other in their group meetings but they each confirmed they weren't angry at each other but it was something else. They all understood and didn't pressure them.

Now that the whole Yule Ball shenanigans were over, Wade could finally focus on the egg. He opened the egg a few times alone and noticed the inside is like bubbles. Bubbles and that led him to conclude that maybe water had something to do with it.

Right now he was in the bridge that led from the Castle Courtyard to Hagrid's Hut with Krum of all people.

Krum: interesting display of beauty you get in whatever direction you look outside of Hogwarts.

Wade: true.

Krum: I never did thank you for warning me about the Dragons.

Wade: don't mention it. I'm guessing you solved your egg?

Krum: I did. You?

Wade: closer and closer. Why did you decide to go with Hermione to the Yule Ball? Just curious.

Krum: I... I fancy smart people. As you could tell, I'm sort of a brute. I do try to think but Quidditch is more my thing.

Wade: I can tell. It's not bad fancying someone smart.

Krum: you really think so?

Wade: oh yeah. My grandfather was smart in Charms, Spells and Defensive Magic. Duelist above everything, never lost once. He joined the Ministry after the Global Wizarding War. Him and My grandmother were together during the war. She knew more about runes, potions, plants and animals so she filled the parts my grandfather didn't have.

Krum: sounds like they were a strong couple.

Wade: everyone in my family is. Strong. My point being is when you fancy someone for something you don't have, it means you're looking for someone that fills the empty gaps you have while doing the same for them. You're strong, they're smart. You're brave, they're shy.

Krum: that's a nice way to look at things.

Wade: just keep it in mind. However you also have to find the person who is willing to accept the person you truly are. To everyone you're just the best Seeker in the World, however that special someone will look past that and see you for who you really are. The Real Viktor Krum.

Krum: when did you became a love expert?

Wade: blame my dad and his life lessons. Love included.

Krum: I see.<looks at his watch> I gotta go, Headmaster Karkaroff wanted to see me. I'll see you at the Second Task.<walks way>

Wade: right back at ya.

Wade: yeah?
