Chapter 9 Rise Grindelwald

Ministry, Department of Mysteries No POV

Wade and Axel apperated inside the Department as sneaked past some guards.

Wade: I didn't expect to be taken in the middle of the hallway, how can you even apperate inside Hogwarts?

Axel: Dumbledore trusts me and I was a temporary headmaster.

Wade: really?

Axel: yeah.

Wade: I'm still having my doubts about it. <sees the door that leads into the room full of prophecies and stops>

Axel: what are you- oh.

Wade: I always thought I was never gonna see that damn door again.

Axel: I know it's bad to look at it but... we have to find that prophecy.

Wade: fine. Let's go.

Wade and Axel entered as the room was no longer shelves and shelves full of crystal orbs but now a large room filled with pillars as the door closed and started moving.

Wade: so... it's different.

Axel: that's because they had to change the way they recollected the prophecies. Since reparo was the easiest way to fix the prophecies, it was actually labeling them that was the hard part since only the person that the prophecy was made to could see through it. So they just switched it to putting the prophecies in several areas and having the user place their palm above a special stone podium that will have their prophecy appear on their palm. Which I find pretty weird since I thought you couldn't recover prophecies but I'm just an old man with knowledge of the past.

Wade: there could be thousands of places.

Axel: true but luckily they remembered what an alphabet is so we just have to look for yours. It will be labeled as Grindelwald.

Wade: why?

Axel: destiny BS.

They both heard a growl as they hid behind a pillar as they see a creature with a body of a lion that had two heads, one had goat horns while the other was definitely a lion head and a tail that was a snake as it walked past them into the darkness.

Wade: a Chimera?

Axel: after last year? They needed better security.

Wade: but a Chimera?

Axel: they're tough to kill.

Wade: let's just get the prophecy and get out of here.

Axel: follow me then.

Axel lead Wade through the place as he looked around and thinks the place looks like a place he read in a book somewhere. I think it had to do with a Ring.

Axel: we're close. Ah, here we are.

They arrived at a rock podium that was in front of a pit filled with prophecies and a sign that said from E-H.

Wade: my last name starts with T.

Axel: don't look at me, I'm not the one who named the damn prophecies.

Wade placed his hand on the podium as one prophecy emerged from the well filled with prophecies as he extended his hand and grabbed it, as he looked into it.

"While the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord strikes the major blows... another shall destroy the Destroy the Dark Lord and bring retribution to a name filled with the horrors of War... his power is balance... his power is unity... his power shall rise once again..."
