I stuff my hands into my sweater pockets as the boys and I walked down the street. Stiles had dragged Scott and I out to a high school party, from some girl he's known since he was a kid. I didn't really want to go.

"What?" Stiles questioned as we walked to the party. "What do you mean, 'What?'"

"I mean 'What?' and you know what."

Scott and I frowned confused. No Stiles we did not know. "'What'" what?"

"That look you were giving!"

I shook my head, looking forward. "We didn't give a look."

Stiles raised an eyebrow. "Oh, there was a distinct look."

"What look???" Scott and I said exasperated. This back and forth thing was getting really annoying. "The look that says the last thing you feel like doing right now is going to a party!"

Scott sighed. "It's not that. It just seems weird, going to a different high school's party." I nod. It did, especially since I practically grew up in Beacon Hills High. It almost felt like betrayal. "I should be helping Derek find Erica and Boyd." Parties are the last thing on my mind.

Stiles stared at us incredulously. He had dragged us out of our houses for this party, he wasn't taking no for an answer. "First off, Derek said not to." I snort, like I care and like I'm going to listen to what Derek says.  "And second, one drink, all right? You'll be fine!"

I looked uneasily at the house as we got closer, people were going in, music was blaring. It just didn't feel right to go to a party when Erica and Boyd were God knows where. "I went to nursery school with this girl, okay? She promised to introduce us to all of her friends. So, tonight, no Allison, no Lydia and no pack drama." He makes it sound like we always have drama. "Tonight, we're moving on and having fun."

Scott nodded. "You're right." Stiles turned to me waiting for an answer. I groan and sulk my shoulders. "Fine." I guess one drink couldn't hurt. Besides we can't get drunk.

Stiles cheered. "That's right I'm right!"

"Moving on." Scott stated. I nod, trying to match their enthusiasm. "Onward and upward!"

We walked to the house. "Let's do this."

"That's what I'm talking about. Now, look at me."

"Okay."

"How's my breath smell?" Scott asked us both.

"I'm not smelling your breath." Stiles said, annoyed. "Do you have any gum?"

"No! No gum! You're fine!"

When we entered the party a blonde greeted us instantly. "STILES! Hi!" She must be nursery girl.

"Hey! There's the birthday gir--" He was cut off when she suddenly kissed him. My jaw dropped. What the hell?!

"So glad that you made it!" The girl exclaimed.

Stiles replied overwhelmed. "Me, too."

"Come downstairs with me and help me pick out a bottle of wine?"

Come downstairs and help pick a bottle of wine? As if that isn't code for let me get in your pants. I couldn't help but scowl at the girl. I didn't know I could hate someone I just met.

"Yes."

Scott felt my anger and slapped my hands lightly to get me to unroll my fists. All I did was move them behind my back. As soon as Stiles and the girl left I suddenly didn't want to be here anymore. Those two were probably going to do it right under us. And no thank you.
