The twins, Scott I searched through Stiles' bag, pulling out wires and rope.
For a gym back, it could carry a lot of stuff. The more random wires we pulled out the more I started to second guess everything.

He had built God knows what. That can do God knows what.

"What the hell were you doing?" Aiden said as we kept pulling out piece after scrap after scrap from the bag.

"Building a Terminator?"

"Thank you for that." Stiles said sarcastically. I pulled out a folded map and opened it up, why does he have a map?

"Guys, this is a map." I laid it open, a red line trailed through it over the green one. Why did it seem familiar? Ethan points at it.

"Isn't that the cross-country trail?"
I studied the trail. It was the cross-country trail. We're supposed to be running it right now.

Scott nods and traces the line, stopping at the lookout point. "That's the Tate car-- where Malia Tate's family died."
Stiles points at it again.

"You mean, that's where her father put the steel-jawed traps." Oh no.

Scott, Stiles and I pulled up to the cross country grounds where Coach was. Aiden and Ethan had already taken off after the class to get them off of the trail.

Coach's jaw drops when he sees Stiles, technically we're supposed to be calling Stilinski right about now since we found him. But there was no time for that.

There were I don't know how many booby traps in those woods with a class full of kids about to run straight into them.

The boys and I cut Coach off from saying anything until he heard what we had to say. "Coach listen closely."

We told Coach everything, well, sort of almost everything. Mainly about the booby traps that were on the trail and that was enough to make him listen to us.

We finally reached the class, thankfully none of them had stepped on anything or lost a limb yet. However they still kept running.

"EVERYONE STOP!" Stiles yelled as we skid to a stop in front of the class. They all shared confused looks as Stiles knelt on the ground and began to feel around in the ground. I began to bite my nail as Stiles pulled out a chain. I can't believe this. Booby traps.

Stiles followed the chain slowly, however it didn't led anywhere. I raised a confused eyebrow. Huh? That didn't make any sense.

"Congratulations, Stilinski." Coach clapped sarcastically as he began to walk up to the front. "You found a length of chain. Can somebody now please tell me what the hell's going on???"

I was about to scold him for not taking any of this seriously when I saw him take a step back and trip a wire. It was barely noticeable, but it was there. It was there and he had just tripped it.

"Coach!"

There was a small whooshing sound and my eyes went wide when a small arrow flew and hit Coach right square in the stomach. Everyone gasped loudly when the arrow hit. I almost scream. Coach didn't fully register the probable pain he was experiencing as he looked down at the arrow.

His white shirt began to bleed red. "Oh crap."

Coach collapsed on the ground and we all rushed to him immediately

Coach collapsed on the ground and we all rushed to him immediately.

"Oh, my God, I'm gonna die! Get it out of me! I'm gonna die!" Coach yelled frantically, squeezing my hand.

Despite being humans, I swear that he was breaking the bones in my hands. "Coach, you're not gonna die–"

"I'm gonna die!"

I have never seen someone who's about to die talk so frantically. The boys were trying to stop the blood from coming out of the wound, despite the arrow still being lodged inside of his stomach.

None of us dared to touch it.

"It will hurt less if you stop moving, Coach–" Aiden said before being cut off.

"Get that thing out of me!"

"Not till the paramedics come!"

"Stay still, Coach." Scott tried to assure him. "An ambulance is coming."

"Get it out! I'm gonna die!" I looked up at everyone that towered over us. Dammit. We couldn't exactly talk freely or focus on trying to help him if everyone was going to be over us.

"Give him some room! Get back!"

With everyone back Scott began to take away some of Coach's pain, Coach was far more busy panicking to notice the veins pop out in Scotts arm. He took just about enough away that he passed out. "I think he just passed out."

I exhaled a little, it's better that he's passed out when the paramedics come. It'll make their jobs much easier.

Stiles begins to grow anxious, I can feel it. His hands are covered in Coachs blood, and they begin to shake. "I could have killed him." He realized.

"I could have killed him, right? What if it was his head? Or his throat?"

I shook my head. "But it wasn't--" I take his hands despite the blood. I held them to stop him from shaking, this wasn't his fault. This was whatever the hell was inside of him.

"Coach is going to be all right." At least I hope.

Aiden looks up when the sound of the sirens begins to get closer. "I think I just heard an ambulance coming."

Stiles nods, and then bows his head. "And my dad."
