Derek groans and flinches as Deaton checks him out. I had called Deaton for help. I didn't know what to do, much less if Derek would heal easily after having that tube shoved in him for hours.

When my parents got here mom was more than a little upset with me for skipping school, but she was relieved that neither Cora and I were hurt. The image of Derek with a tube in his chest remains in my head.

"He'll be fine." Deaton told us, putting away his tools. Mom released a breath. Derek painstakingly shrugged on a jacket. "I don't know why you called him."

Cora and I stared at him. "Are you serious? You had a gaping hole in your chest!" Cora exclaimed.

Derek stood and walked to us. He looked at my parents who were talking to Deaton. "Andy, Nate." My parents looked at him, "Can you take Cora?"

Coras eyes went wide and so did mine. "What?" Where did that come from?

Mom and Dad exchanged glances. We had told them what had happened while he was unconscious. What Deucalion had said, done. Oh, oh don't tell me that he's saying that because of him.

Dad nodded, "Of course we will."

Cora glared up at Derek. "Really? I just got here and you're pushing me aside?"

"It's better that you're not here the next time they come."

Cora scoffed and began to storm off. I gave Derek a sympathetic look. "Its for the best."

"So three warriors were taken." I furrow my eyebrows. They would really take Harris? I know he served but really? Him?

Stiles nodded. "Yeah and get this-" His voice faded into the background as I rubbed my necklace. I didn't mean to block out Stiles but I couldn't stop thinking about what Deucalion said. I came to Stiles place because I wanted to be filled in on what happened at school, with the Alphas and the sacrifices. Two more people were taken, Harris and the music teacher. And apart from that Scott managed to get one of the alphas suspended from school.

As much as I was glad, and wanted to try and focus on what Stiles was saying I couldn't. Deucalion wants Derek to kill someone, someone from our pack. I know Derek would never do it, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't force him to.

"Izzie." I snapped my head up, Stiles looking at me with the dubious face.

"Huh?"

Stiles pulled up his chair and sat down in front of me. "What's wrong?"

I shook my head, leaning back, away from those eyes that could possible tell if I was lying. "Nothing is wrong."

He gave me a look that meant spill, and the more I tried looking away the more I couldn't. I took a breath, trying not to make my voice sound shaky as I spoke.

"Derek kicked Cora and Isaac out of the loft."

"Why?"

"He's afraid, and truthfully I'm afraid to."

"Derek afraid?" He blinked astounded. He has never really seen Derek afraid, at least I don't think. "Of what?"

"The alpha pack. When I skipped school we were attacked in the loft." I told him. "They had Derek pinned to the ground with a metal tube in his chest. Cora and I couldn't do anything." And I hated that. "Deucalion told Derek he had to kill a member of his pack. Only one because then he would kill the rest."

I sniffed, feeling my eyes begin to burn with the tears that were beginning to pool around my eyes. "If he doesn't do it they will force him. Which is why he can't have them living there anymore, especially now that they know where he lives." I looked down at my hands so I don't have to look at Stiles, because if I look at him for even one more second I will begin crying. "They will force him to kill."

I began to cry. "And I'm scared." More scared then I have ever been.
