“How much longer do you think we have?” I asked Deaton who shrugged.
“I wish I knew... but, if we don't figure out something soon, we're going to need to find a better place to keep him. I think we're grossly underestimating the danger here. He might be paralyzed, but it still feels like he's got us right in the palm of his hand.”
“But, the scroll said to "change his body..." I repeated what Deaton had told me and Scott.
“That's if I translated it correctly.” Deaton tells us. “We're looking for a cure in something that might actually be nothing more than a proverb or a metaphor.”
“And what if he doesn't want it?” I questioned.
“He never asked to be a Werewolf!”
Stiles has always tried to keep this part of our life away from Stilinski, at least till he found out. But I sincerely doubted he would want to become one of us.
“What if it saves his life?” Lydia tells us.
“What if it kills him?” Scott said. “I've never done this before. I mean, what if I bite him and accidentally hit an artery or something?”
I don’t think there was actually a specific way to give someone the bite. I’m pretty sure a simple might would do.
Deaton sighed. “The venom is not going to last long-- something needs to be done sooner than later.”
“I can try calling Derek again?”
I shake my head. Derek wasn’t answering. Dad was at work and I know he doesn’t know much about this alpha business.
Mom does, but she wasn’t answering either. The only other person who would know about this would be Peter.
“Maybe we should call someone else.”
I began to pull out my phone and dialed Peter. Miraculously, he answered.“Isabelle,” Peter greets. “To what do I owe this call?”
I sighed, looking at the others. “We need your help uncle.”
“Uncle huh? You really do need me.”

“He doesn't look like he would survive a slap across the face,” Peter muttered as he looked at Void. He thankfully decided to come and help us.
I knew it wasn’t going to be out of free will. He was going to need something in return. And I think I knew what it was.
“much less the bite of a Werewolf.”
“You don't think it would work?” I questioned my uncle. If this wasn’t going to work there was no way in hell I was going to risk it. No way any of us were going to risk it.
“This is more a war of the mind than the body. There are better methods to winning this battle.”
Deaton looks interested. “What kind of methods?”
Peter takes Scotts hand and makes him draw his claws out. “We're going to get into his head.”

“We’ll do it!” Lydia assured Peter. “We said we would.”
I nodded. Peter wanted to know the name of his child. If she even was his. I don’t doubt Lydia, but a DNA test would definitely help ease my mind.
“But, only if you help-- and only if Scott doesn't know about it.” Peter nods.
I didn’t want to keep this from Scott, but if he knew about Malia being Peter's daughter- well I don’t really know.
Until I know for sure she is his daughter, I don’t think we should just go around announcing it to everyone.
“So, do we have a plan?” Deaton asked us when we finally came out. Peter nods.
“Scott is going to try and dig through pale and sickly Evil-Stiles' mind to unearth pale and sickly Real-Stiles. Then, guide him back from the depths of his own subconscious. But, he's not going to do it alone.”
Scott frowns. “What do you mean?”
“Somebody needs to go in with you.” Peter turns his sights on me and my eyes go slightly wide.“What?”
Peter nods. “Trust me, I’d rather not have you go in,” What does that mean? Peter still actually cares about me?
That’s kind of sweet. I guess.
“You both have deep connections to Stiles.”
I guess that does make sense. Scott and I have been his friends for the longest time. Before I lose my nerve, I go and take the seat next to Void.
It was uncomfortable being this close to him. But if this was the only way to bring Stiles back I think I can sacrifice some personal space.
“So what do we do if we find him?” Scott asked Peter as he guided his hands to the back of Stiles' neck.
“You're going to have to guide him out somehow.”
“Try to give him back control of his mind, his body-” Peter says as I felt Scotts claws on my neck.
They weren’t in yet, but I still couldn’t stop thinking back to the last time. Isaac looked in so much pain when Peter did this exact ritual to him. At least this time it’s Scott, but I had a feeling it would hurt all the same.
“Could you elaborate on the "somehow?" Lydia questions. “It's not feeling very specific at the moment.”
Peter shrugged. “Improvise?” I glared up at him and he simply shrugged.
“What if this is just another trick?” Scott questioned what we were all thinking.
“When are you people going to start trusting me?” Peter said, exasperated as he crossed his arms. I sighed at Peter, “He meant him.” I said as I motioned to Void next to me.
We all know how much he loves his tricks.
“Oh.”
“Scott,” Deaton said. “we're running out of time.” I gasped when I felt Scotts claws.
They entered so quickly and without warning. The next thing I know we were in what appeared to be Eichen house, we were tied up to the beds. Restrained.
“What now?” Scott asked as we broke free of the restraints. I’m surprised we were able to since this was Void's mind. Stiles' mind? I shake my head, “I don't know. This is my first time in someone else's head.”
Scott sighs as we see the exit. “Just stay behind me.” I don’t argue with him, getting behind him.
We began to walk to the exit, Scott stepped out but before I could, the door closed shut on me. “Scott!” I yelled in a panic, banging on the door.
“Scotty!”
