“Isabelle!” Someone, no Danny, yells. Shaking me. I gasped awake. "Woah!" Danny pulls me up into a sitting position as I continue to gasp repeatedly. What the hell just happened?
"Are you okay?" Danny asked, "I came up here- I know you said I wasn't supposed to- but I needed a blanket because we found Lydia all hyperthermia and you were here-"
I paused, turning to look at him."What do you mean you found Lydia hyperthermic?"
Danny quickly explained what he meant, that he and Aiden found Lydia on the balcony passed out and freezing.
I immediately got to my feet, he tried to get me to sit down, saying I was crazy because I wasn't taking a break after being unconscious for who knows how long, but I didn't let him finish making sure I was alright because I was already halfway down the stairs.
At least till someone dropped the DJs booth.
I smelled who it was before everyone in the building turned to the perpetrator, all of them confused and angry for the music getting canceled.
I winced. Dammit. I thought we'd have till morning. Derek stares at everyone, and I know what's going to happen. In three, two, one. “GET OUT!” Derek roared to the crowd of people.
I looked at Danny anxiously. "That's the family friend so you should leave." I began to push Danny down the rest of the stairs. "I'll cover for the whole thing just go!"
Everyone scattered and the only ones left were the twins, Derek, Kira, Scott and myself. I approached my cousin nervously. "Hi." I waved falsely. Derek crosses his arms at me. I didn't like it. "Now before you even say it, no one did anything in your bed."
Derek glares. Okay I'll admit, I have hung out with Stiles way too much if that was my answer. Wait, where was Stiles?
The same shadows that attacked me appeared again, literally coming out of the shadows. Like if they were made from it. I expected them to attack me again, but they all stared at Aiden.
“Guys, they're all looking at me.” They stepped to him. “Why are they all looking at me!”
No idea but I'd rather not find out. Derek, Scott and I stretched our claws and began to fight. I tried to slash one of them, but it was like my claws just went through them.
I saw Derek snap one of their necks, but instead of dying it just- it didn't really do anything. I tried doing the thing again, Lydia and Allison have said I should focus on my emotions and we'll it's safe to say I am angry right now.
The same purple hued energy shot out of my hands, throwing the shadows back. I tried to do the same thing again, but let’s just say it didn’t work as planned. I have no idea how in the hell any of this works, and it was like they knew that.
I ducked from the shadows kick, grabbing their leg, and I flip them around. Throwing them to the other side of the loft. However one materialized behind me and shoved me into Derek, the two of us collapsing. God damn, they are strong.
They grabbed Aiden, doing exactly what they did to me. They glowed their eyes at him. Aiden looked drugged by the second, and then he collapsed. They started to make their way towards either Scott or Kira.
But then the sun started to come up and they vanished. Like shadows do when the sun comes up. Or vampires.
“What the hell were those things?” Scott asked. Isaac looked at Allison. “Your dad's twenty-four hours are up.”
