I sit with my dad and the others in the living room. Melissa was upstairs with my mom, watching over Rafeal who had gotten hurt when the creature had shown up. We still had a few hours till dawn. I sort of suggested we play some board games or watch a movie to pass the time but they all looked at me like I was crazy. God it was just a suggestion.

The house suddenly began to rumble and shake. We all looked to see it was the creatures hitting the barrier with their fists and the ends of their swords. With each hit the house rumbled more, things began to fall off shelves.

My eyes went wide when they had managed to cut a hole through the barrier. I slap Ethan's arm in shock, "Guys!" Everyone turned back to the barrier, surprised as we watched the creature stick their hand in. "We've got a problem."

Scott got on the phone with Allison to see if she and Argent found out anything from the 'Silverfinger' guy that Argent had known all those years ago when he first came across the creatures.

"I'm right, aren't I?" Kira asked Scott. "They're looking for me." He shakes his head. "They're looking for a dark spirit. And I know it's not you."

"Scott," I called my friend urgently. "We're gonna have to do something."

And then finally the barrier gave in, and one by one they began to step through. We all extend our claws, ready for round two. At least till Scott gave the order. "Don't do anything." My eyes went wide.

"Are you serious?"

"Is he serious?"

Aiden and I questioned simultaneously, which kind of shocks us both. "I said, don't do anything." Scott repeats more sternly. We all had no choice but to stand down. Oh if he wasn't the alpha we'd be kicking dark shadow creature ass.

Scott nods and takes Kira's hand. "Trust me." They walked up to the creatures and the creatures grabbed them by their face. They began to do exactly what they did to me and the others.

Scott and Kira got weaker by the second as they stared at the creatures whose eyes began to glow that same eerie yellow. The creatures let them go and they fell on the ground.

As suddenly as they appeared, they disappeared. That actually worked?!

The second they left we all rushed and dropped down to their sides. I flipped Scott over, "You're gonna be okay." I assured him as he looked to be getting his strength back. "Melissa," Mom muttered to herself. She stood and began to rush up the stairs. Holy crap. Rafeal!

"Call an ambulance!"

Melissa, Scott and I burst through the hospital doors with Rafeal on a stretcher. It was a miracle he was still alive. The cops and the rest of the group were back at the house, the cops processing the scene and doing some routine questioning. Rafeal kind of saw all of us, so if we left before the police arrived well he wouldn't particularly be fond of it.

"Hey, stab wound to the left chest." Melissa informed as doctors came rushing up. "Possible collapsed lung. Pulse is weak." They took Rafeal away, wheeling him to the OR for surgery. I am not particularly fond of the man, but I also don't want him to die.

With nothing more to do but just wait for Rafael to come out of surgery, Scott and I went to go find Stiles. Melissa told us that he had come here and she had given him a sedative so he could catch some sleep.

He wasn't in his room when we found him, instead standing alone in an empty hallway. "Stiles?" I called him, maybe just a tad confused and worried. "Are you okay?"

Stiles turns around. "Yeah. Fine." He smiled at us. "What's been going on?"
