Hi.

Welcome back to part 2 of 2 of 'Fauna & Baelz x Rude! Male Reader'.

Now if you haven't seen the disclaimer from the previous chapter - which you should've read already - here it is again.

This story is not meant to offend anybody, only to tell a story. I'm sure the person who requested this meant well, and of course no harm.

This week will be somewhat slow, but look out for Thursday, I might post two or three chapters then.

Enjoy.

...

"I-I don't know." You stammered. You blinked constantly, and with each blink, a vision of each rejection played over and over again.

"You don't have to dwell in the past anymore, Y/N." Fauna's voice was empathetic, slowly becoming more meaningful as she continued. "Let us help you."

Back then felt nothing more than a fever dream, something unforgettable. When they dropped the deuce onto you, you were left soulless. Each time you tried was the same outcome. A loveless rejection.

Pent up feelings, an error you sought to be on your end. Falling for them seemed to be it, but thinking that they fell for you, was the true mistake.

"A coffee." Baelz's icon flashed. "You never got to drink that coffee."

"What?" You perked up.

"Let's all talk over some coffee, Y/N. It's the least I can do for you." said Baelz.

The time where the three of you all met, visualized in your head. So surreal you felt every emotion again. This time you didn't sympathize with it, rather against it, as you weren't sure as to why you have gone so far in the heat of the moment.

"That seems like a great idea. How does after the stream sound? In the meantime, we'll leave you alone to -"

"D-Don't." You grimaced at your own words.

"Eh?" Both Fauna's and Baelz's icons lit up simultaneously.

"I'd...enjoy the company - in the meantime..." You closed the doors behind you, hoping that the Baelz and Fauna had the right key to open new ones.

You still had the skepticism of whether you'd face the same fate as before. But something tells you otherwise.

...

The chat flooded with bountiful greetings and small donations. You knew how to stream, but not with others. Many users in the chat found it odd for you collaborating with your Genmates, conspiring you were coerced by Fauna and Baelz.

"Time for a change of pace, I suppose." You replied. The strings of text multiplied by the sound of your voice.

"Let's get on with it then." said Baelz.

You all played for a few hours on end, with a laugh here and there, times of synergy, and a bunch of moments you could never forget.

In the first time in a while, you finally felt how it was to belong. You were confined in a space, to never open up, to never try again. Things changed, and you never felt any better.

"Haha! Nice one, Y/N!" Fauna giggled.

You felt the struggle no longer.

Lungs finally able to breathe.

A new world to see.

The stream was ended briefly after a small superchat reading. You placed your headset down and turned off your PC, grabbing your jacket to leave.

It was around early sunset, the sky golden as the day and night met. It was partially windy, yet fairly soothing as the leaves scattered across the pavement. Spectating from your seat, a familiar duo approached you from down the sidewalk.

"Sorry we took so long!" Fauna apologized, clasping her hands together tightly, bowing over and over. Her scarf swung all over the place.

"It's alright, I just got here." You waved.

"You look like a 'plain black coffee' kind of guy."  Baelz said, reaching for the door handle.

"How come?" You raised a brow.

"You just do!" She giggled, walking in. Fauna sat across from you, fumbling her fingers.

"U-Um, Y/N. May I ask you something?" Her breath visible in the cold air,

"Yeah...?" You replied.

"Are you still... angry? I mean -"

"No," You laughed. "You helped me out. Plus, there's no dwelling in the past right?"

Baelz returned with a tray of mugs, steam bellowing atop. You stood up, offering your chair, then taking another from an empty table. You all formed a triangle, each person with a cup of coffee out in the November cold.

Baelz sniffled, her puffy jacket rustled against itself as she rose her hand to pinch her red nose.

"I hope you don't catch a cold..." Fauna sipped from her mug.

"I won't, considering I have you two here."

"That doesn't make sense." You butted in.

"Figuratively. You know..." Baelz continued to explain how it did, but you all let out a laugh in her attempts. Afterwards, an awkward silence. With a sigh, eyes were lain upon you.

"Can I say something?" You began.

"Of course..." Fauna replied.

"Will the both of you continue to support me?" Your head stooped in embarrassment.

"Yeah-" Baelz offered a hand.

"I meant... personally." Your head stopped even lower, Baelz's hand moved back a little in surprise. A small gasp escaped from Fauna's mouth.

"As in - relationship...wise?" Fauna stammered.

"No, I mean!" A warm hand met yours.

"I'd take that chance, as long as you feel better, it's good enough for me." Baelz grinned.

"If she's willing to take you in, I will as well." Another hand met the other.

"Y/N... You have to remember, we're here for you. Don't worry so much." They both collectively smile, a warm atmosphere grew amongst you.

"Let's find what's behind these doors, shall we?"

...

a/n: and that's all! i'll see you tomorrow in the next.
