You picked up your phone from your side and swiped up to unlock your phone after it authenticated your face. Discord, being the very first thing you see, as it was the last app you've used, you saw the end of your latest conversation with Kiara.

"God, great going me..." You cringed with one eye open, scrolling through the messages between you and Kiara.

Groaning audibly and then frustratingly pressing the power button on your phone and chucking it off to the same side you picked it up from, you sighed deeply until all the air from your lungs escaped, then breathing in again to fill them back up.

In roughly eleven hours, you and Kiara would meet up, and eventually...

"I forgot to make plans..." You sighed and cursed, now sitting up in bed. Your bedside clock now read 11:32 in a dark, retro-typefaced green.

You decided that you would probably get a clear head from walking downstairs and getting a simple drink of tea or something.

As you did, you almost ran into your roommate and genmate, Amelia Watson.

"Jesus, fu-" Amelia picked up a leg and her arms in fright. "Oh... it's just you, Y/N..."

"Are you stressed out too?" You asked Amelia as she began rubbing her chest.

"Yeah..." Amelia sighed and shook her head fondly. "...wait... how'd you know?"

"Wild guess... kick my ass if you think I'm a psychic..." You rolled your eyes and went past Amelia to head down the hall. "Gonna get tea, want some?"
