The four pogues were now hid behind a fence
"nice camera. where'd you dig up that relict? why don't you just use your phone?" jj asked looking at pope who was recording the scene
"well, first of all, i liked my antique electronics. second of all, this is a telephoto. it allows me to get a close image from far away"
"lord of the dorks" kie commented
"for definitive proof of witness payoff, we're gonna need quality glass" jo stated

"there he is" pope said as he saw ward run to the building under construction
"shi- yo get down" jj stated and the four hid behind he fence
"and there's gavin" jo said as she saw him because she stayed with her eyes over the fence
jj grabbed her by her waist "i told you to get down"
"you are so inconsistent"
pope looked at ward and gavin running into the building "where are you going, you son of a bitch?" he muttered under his breath "no, no, no, no. i'm losing him. shit!"
"where's he going?" jo asked
"hold on" jj walked away from his friends as the three kept trying to find ward
jj whistled at the three "yo! hey. i found something. come here"
the three teens followed jj "we gotta go on top" the four climbed on to of a roof and hid behind a wall. the spot was perfect, they had a clear view of ward and gavin
"you rolling, pope?" jj asked
"yeah. yeah, i see them"
after a couple of seconds pope began telling the other three what was happening "ward just handed gavin something. i think it's a duffel bag"
"guys, i think this is a payoff" jj observed
"gavin doesn't look happy about something. it looks like he's yelling at ward"
"why?" kie asked
