The three remaining pogues were in the car. jj at the driver sit, jo next to him and kie next to jo
"look, if limbrey is legit..." kie said and they saw pope walk out of the house with the man and a blonde woman "then ward gets arrested and maybe sarah gets the gold"
they looked as the three people walked somewhere and pooe couldn't stop staring at his friends "does that look voluntary?"
the man pushed pope "that would be a negative"
"come on" kie was about to get out of the car back jo stopped her "hold on"
"what?" she questioned
"they're going into the alley" jj said as he watched the three walk
"go around back" jo stated and jj started the car "we'll meet them in the other side"
"hey, be chill, be chill"
"yeah, sure"
"look, where did they go?" kie questioned when they didn't found the alley
"what if they went underground?" jj said and jo looked at him confused "because in c.h.u.d., when they took people down the sewers it would turn the humans into humanoids 'cause of the radiation. and the all of sudden-"
"okay, stop! stop. you're scaring me" jo stated
"sorry. did you see him?" jj asked
"no"
the three got down the car and found a way to get into the alley, jj ran to pope when he saw him in the ground fighting with the man. jj kicked the taser to kie and she took it "come on!"
"pope, let's go" jo yelled but pope punched the man in the face
"go! just leave him! leave him!" jj yelled and the four got into the truck
"ow! who were those people?!" kie yelled as jj started the engine
"we're getting hell out of here" jj said
"jj, faster!" jo yelled
"that was crazy shit. let's get out of here" pope stated and the four drove away
kie glared nervously over her shoulder back towards the limbrey household, but her eyes grew with concern "i think he's following us"
pope only had a second to point out towards a single sign on the nearby sidewalk "this is a one-way. go left"
jj didn't obey his words though, only seemingly stepping harder on the gas
"there's another car, turn now!" pope yelled, jo covered her face with her hands to not look at the car which was running towards them and jj turned left
