After monica kicked jo out of her house, the teen ran immediately to the chateau, nobody was there so she went to the bathroom and pulverized threee pills. she closed one of her nostrils and inhaled with the other one. it didn't take long for the pills to do their work and when she entered the living room she saw kie crying on the bed
"hey, what's wrong?" the blonde girl asked with a soft voice as she sat beside the brunette, trying to not let her friend see that she was high
"my mom kicked me out" kie answered between sobs
"oh" jo stayed silent before she cracked out of laugh
"what? why are you laughing?" kie asked as she sat up with her back against the wall
"this is so ironic" jo laughed as tears fell down her cheeks "my mom kicked me out too. like, is there something more ironic?" jo laughed, it was a nervous laugh
"john b in jail for doing nothing?" kie laughed making jo laugh harder
"this is not fun"
"no, it's not"
the two stopped their laugh trying to be serious again "have you heard of jj?" jo asked
"no, did you heard of pope?" kie asked
"no" jo answered then she looked around "where's sarah?"
"she went to see wheezie" kie answered
jo sighed heavily "i can't take this anymore"
"yes, you can. we gotta stick together" kie stated
"i know"
"hey, girls, what are you doing back?" pope asked entering the house with rush "what happened?"
"my mom snapped, and i got booted" kie answered
"me too" jo raised her hand
"wait, what?" pope asked with concern
"it's not a big deal. we are just gonna stay here a couple of days. hang out with our friends" kie said
"you know, if you need a place to stay, you can always come stay with me" pope said looking directly at kie, jo knew the invitation was only for the brunette but she didn't care, she was going to stay at the château with jj and sarah anyway
kie hesitated "um...yeah, uh...how did thing go with you?"
"uh...well, pops was upset" pope answered sitting on the chair in front of the two girls
