"She's never gonna be on our side, rose!" rafe yelled at rose as jo sat next to wheezie on the couch
"rafe"
"she's..." rafe grunted "she thinks she's a pogue now, right? just...transformation is complete, okay?"
"once a pogue always a pogue" jo stated
"josephine, shut the fuck up!" rafe yelled pointing at her
"so as long as she knows where we are, we are never gonna be safe. when you think logically about what we need to do to to contain her-" rafe said
"attention, all passengers and crew. report to the tween forward hull. attention, all passengers, all crew, report to the tween forward hull. it's an order" the captain said over pa and the four began walking out of the cabin towards the hull.
"where are we going, and where's dad?" wheezie asked as the four walked towards the door, rafe keeping jo's wrists together with one hand
"i don't know, wheezie" rose answered, most of the crew was already there when rafe stopped making jo stumble on her feet then he walked somewhere else, taking her with him
"what are you doing?" jo whispered-yelled
at the same time kie and jj were outside the hull, ready to lock the door
"that's all the crew" kie whispered
"except ward, and jo" jj whispered
"we can't wait" kie stated
"kie, i'm not going anywhere without jo" jj stated
"she's probably with sarah and we can't wait" kie said
jj thought about it for a second, jo was strong, she could manage to escape rafe if she wanted to but she didn't know they were there. but sarah would have never leave jo. so jj decided to lock the door.
meanwhile rafe took jo on the lower floor and drugged her to see the cross, he sighed in relief when he saw it but then the two heard noises and rafe made jo hide with him behind some boxes.
"they're here" jo whispered with a smile and tried to yell but rafe immediately placed a hand on her mouth "shut the fuck up"
he grabbed a rope and tied her wrists together, then he ripped a piece of cloth that was covering the cross and placed it around her mouth to prevent her from yelling
rafe drugged jo into the room where all the machines were and grabbed a harpoon for sharks then tied her wrists to one of the tubs
"sarah! jo!" jo heard john b yelled and tried to yell back but the piece of cloth stopped her
rafe shoved the harpoon against one of the tubs and stopped john b from waking
"rafe" john b gasped
"watch your head, man" rafe said and john b tired to walk on the other side of the machine in the middle of the room "what the hell are you doing here, john b?"
"just put that thing down, all right?" john b said
"why would i do that, huh?" rafe said
"this isn't about you, all right? this is about sarah and jo, i need them back" john b stated
"look, one is right there" rafe said pointing to jo
"dolphin" john b gasped "are you okay?"
jo nodded as tears and sweat fell down her cheeks and forehead
"let her go" john b stated
"uh, i think i'm gonna let her wrist burn a little more before doing that, right babydoll?" rafe said turning to jo, giving john b the opportunity to run then the two boys began fighting until john b fell on the ground
"same old shit" rafe said
"you don't have to do this, all right?" john b said as jo, taking advantage of rafe not looking at her, began trying to break the rope
"pogues stealing from us. you know, i can't...i'm not gonna let that happen" rafe said and tried to hit john b but he managed to dodge it and hit the other boy in the stomach
john b stood up and run towards jo "go up, find pope and help him with the cross. i'll find sarah and get the lifeboat" he said untying her wrists
"she's already there. we had to meet there" jo said as she run first up the stairs but rafe followed the two and almost made john b fall down when one of the machines let out a lot of smoke against rafe making the two pogues run away.
jo run in the boat and managed to get on the main dock. when she arrived the cross was already swinging in the air "oh my god!"
cleo turned around and pointed her knife towards the blonde girl making her flinch
"jo, thank god, you're okay!" pope yelled, smiling, from the inside of the machine that was moving the cross
"are you josephine?" cleo asked, still pointing the knife towards her
"i am, who are you?" jo asked making the other girl lower her knife
"i'm cleo" she answered
"from the bahamas?" jo asked shock making her nod "well, shit" jo gasped and looked at pope
"did you see john b?" pope yelled
"he's going to the lifeboat, sarah should already be there! where's jj? and kie?" she yelled back
"they're going to help john b load the cross!" he yelled
"help me" cleo told jo and the two girls took the rope that was tied at the cross
"hey, pope, move it more that way. over the water!" cleo yelled
"i'm moving it!" pope yelled
"more to the right, pope!" jo yelled
when the cross was over the water, jo and cleo heard sounds of gunfire and looked over at pope
"pope, get out of there!" jo yelled as she helped cleo keep the cross that was almost making them slip and fall
"drop the line!" pope yelled
"why?" cleo yelled
"we're pinched. just do it!" pope yelled
"are you sure?" jo yelled
"yes. drop it" pope yelled
"okay. fine" and they dropped the rope
then rafe ran out of nowhere and grabbed the rope when pope let the cross go and it fell in the water, making rafe be the only one to hold it and making him slip until he was blocked by some thing preventing him from falling in the sea.
"get down here, pope!" jo yelled when she heard another shot
pope climbed out of the cabin of the machine and managed to jump out of it
"we gotta go! we gotta go!" cleo yelled
then the three ran and jumped in the water as one of the men of the crew tried to shoot at them.
