"somewhere in this trash" pope finished his sentence

kie sighed "oh my god. people who use plastic should be shot" kie complained
"okay, personally, i love plastic" jj informed and jo chuckled, scrunching her nose "use it every day. love the stuff"
"hopefully, you recycle it and don't let it flush into the ocean" kie retorted and jj shut up, knowing that he would loose the argument with the environment-lovin' girl
"i thought you'd say something like that, so..." pope said making all his friends look at him "i asked mrs. dmitrova trash bags"
switching between pope and kie, jo and jj actually felt as if they were interrupting something
"did you just proactively protect the environment?" kie questioned smiling at pope, earning back a grin from the brunette boy
"maybe" he answered as kie tried not to smile
"do you want us to leave you two alone, or what's going on?" jj chirped in making pope throw the trash back on his chest
"yeah, you're basically undressing each other with your eyes, so-" jo chuckled
"-just pick up the trash"

"it's gotta be in the storm drain" jo groaned
"damn it" pope cursed
"of course it is" kie straightened out her face, practically accepting their completely unfair luck "so, are we gonna do, like, rock, paper, scissors?"

kie furrowed her eyebrows at the quick answer from the boys
"alphabetically?" jo questioned furrowing her eyebrows as the boys opened the drain
"nah"
"or, like, oldest goes?" kie questioned again
"in the sewer, there's this worm that you get when you're down there" jj explained awkwardly clearing hit throat "it gets into your blood, and then it has to come out your pecker. so,uh...that would be a hard pass for me"
