It's been two weeks and a half since their vacation from Hawaii and ever since then, Jeongyeon and Jimin had been sneaking out to have make-out sessions. Sneaking out in a sense that Jimin would silently go to Jeongyeon's room and vice versa. They would make out for so long and sometimes talk about their personal hobbies, and such. Jeongyeon seemed fine with all of it but she can still feel there's a barrier between them. She couldn't put a finger on it but she can still feel that she's not getting into him fully.

"Yah. Are you okay?" Jihyo tapped her friend who suddenly jolts a bit from her seat.

"Oh yeah. I'm fine." Jeongyeon smiled.

They were having some snacks at a small, pastel-colored cafe and Jeongyeon ordered a bowl of banana split even though the December air is getting colder and colder as days passes by.

"So I was saying, Daniel thinks it's time for us to date." Jihyo groaned, "But like, how can I tell him that I'm not ready? He's so persuasive!"

"Well, why are you not ready? I thought you guys are happy and already had it going on?"

"That's the point, Jeongyeon. I'm happy, he's happy. We're happy on what we are right now, even without making it official. I don't think we need to go further than that." Jihyo said.

Jeongyeon halted on her actions, thinking carefully about what she said. It's true that you can't force someone to ask you out, even bringing it up or they might get weird ideas of you pressuring them and all that kind of stuff. Now, she wasn't too sure anymore if she's going to bring it up to Jimin, in which she's been planning for a long time now.

"But I think you owe him an explanation on why you don't want to be in a relationship yet." Jeongyeon replied, "I mean, the last thing you wanna do is to play with his feelings."

Jimin grabbed a bottle of beer from Namjoon's fridge before plopping down on the sofa along with Taehyung and Yoongi. They were watching Formula One live on television and they couldn't miss these broadcasts out.

"Hyung. Do you have more chips over there?" Taehyung called out.

"Yeah. Grab it yourself doof." Namjoon replied from the kitchen.

Taehyung just groaned in response but managed to go to the kitchen to grab it. As soon as Namjoon sat beside them, he started to mention about Jeongyeon,

"So how's you and your girl going so far?"

"We're good." He replied briefly.

"That's it?" Namjoon raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, what else is there to talk about?" Jimin asked in a more annoyed tone.

"Nothing. It's just that I expect you to talk more about her." He shrugged.

Jimin didn't seem to mind about what he said, but he's been thinking for a long while now. He sighed deeply, "She's been busy with babysitting Dahyun, and all of the household chores. And I'm busy with our racing and school too."

"Mhm. Haven't been to a proper date yet with her?" Yoongi asked.

"No. Cause I have no idea where I'm going to take her." Jimin sighed out loud.

"Where does she wanna go?" Taehyung asked from the kitchen.

"I honestly don't know where she wants to go..." Jimin whispered lowly in shame.

Namjoon, Yoongi, and Taehyung looked at him like he's the most ridiculous man they've ever seen.

"I'm sorry okay? I have no time to ask her."

"But you got the time to swallow her face, come on bro." Yoongi rolled his eyes. Jimin just wanted to punch the daylights out of him but Jimin kept his cool for now.

"That's it!" Taehyung's eyes sparkled, "There's a carnival this weekend and I got two extra tickets! You should bring her there, Chim!"

There was a glint of hope across his eyes and he smiled brightly, "Sounds good. You're a life saver, Tae."

"I'll take five bags of chips and two trays of beer next week in exchange." Taehyung smirked widely, Namjoon and Yoongi laughed at their mischevious brother. Jimin rolled his eyes at him,

"You got yourself a deal."

Jeongyeon was finishing up Dahyun's bath when she heard the front door close. She quickly checked who it was and it was no other than Jimin,

"Welcome back."

Jimin looked up from downstairs, seeing the most beautiful angel with her breath taking smile, and velvety voice. He couldn't help but smile back in which he barely even do but he did it without any hesitations,

"Thanks." He kindly replied, "Are you busy right now?"

"I'm just cleaning Dahyun's bath tub right now and I'll tuck her to bed." She replied.

"Let me help you with that." Jimin was about to go up the stairs but Jeongyeon insisted,

"Thank you but I can do it quickly. There's leftover galbitang on the table. It was cooked by Mrs. Min." Jeongyeon said before going to Dahyun's bedroom.

Jimin decided to just put a small amount of food in a small bowl so he can enjoy it while watching tv downstairs. After 10 minutes, he could hear Jeongyeon's footsteps going down the staircase. His head turned to his beautiful angel and pecked her on the lips,

"Come here, princess." He patted the space beside him.

Jeongyeon obeyed him right away and she rested her head on his shoulder softly. "How was your day today?"

"It was alright. I went over at Namjoon's today." He replied, looking at the tv. "How about you?"

"The usual." She shrugged with a small smile. She didn't seem to mind the workload she did from the past few weeks. "Kinda tired though so I might go ahead in a bit."

Jimin swallowed a small lump, and his breathing seemed to be a bit ragged. But he gathered all the courage to tell her their plan for the weekend,

"Jeongyeon-ah."

"Yes?" She softly looked up at him and he looks back at her. He wanted to pounce her and kiss her so hard but he retained himself from doing so. Scratching the back of his head awkwardly while looking away from her, he mumbled,

"Well— I, um, Taehyung got two tickets to the carnival this weekend and I was hoping if you would like to come with m—"

"Is this a date...?"

Jimin suddenly looked at her and sees such hopeful eyes. He felt like his heart melted in such a way that only Jeongyeon can do it. His lips curved into a small smile as he nodded,

"Yeah. It's a date."
