Artem immediatley dialed for help on his phone, while Vyn dived to Y/ns side.
she was shrieking and holding her stomach, kicking her legs and convulsing. clearly she was in pain. but other than some scrapes there was nothing that should've made her feel so horribly.
however, it only took vyn a few moments to deduce what had caused her to act this way. the hot food that had been scattered around, one plate untouched.
"who the fuck was that?" Marius growled.
he had run towards the door, someone had jumped off the balcony. his face was twisted into a sneer, a scary look of rage in his purple eyes. Artem had hardly ever seen his boss look this way.
"im not sure." Artem replied.
vyn scooped Y/n closer, checking her pulse and trying his best to help her through the pain.
"y/n tell us what happened." he said clamly.
her head jerked back as she let out another yell, her fingers digging into her stomach.
"call Kiki and Celestine, shes been poisoned." Vyn said to artem.
Vyn intertwined the girls fingers with his own. an odd rage, one he hadn't experienced in a while was starting to form.
who could do this? why would they do this? she was almost as innocent as a newborn. why would they do this.
whoever did it needed to die. they needed to perish in the most painful way possible for causing Y/n so much harm. what had he used? vyn would dose him with enough poison to kill an army. he would let the assassin die in complete agony.
Vyns golden eyes were full of anger and commotion. but they softened at the look of pain on Y/ns face. he wiped the tears from her cheeks and tried to steady her body.
"the more you move the more it'll hurt, please try to stay calm." he murmured softly.
pitiful whimpers and grunts escaped her twitching body. Y/n was trying as hard as she could to relax, but the painful knife like feeling in her guts was proving to be more than difficult to ignore. she wanted to rip out her insides, there was no way she wouldn't die from this. nothing could cause someone so much pain and allow them to live.
another set of much warmer hands steadied her shoulders. golden and blue eyes stared deeply into Y/ns.
"can we sedate her?" Artem asked.
their faces were blurred with tears, but artems voice dripped with concern. he traced a gentle hand alone her exposed collarbone and shoulder. her skin was like a heater. he felt guilty. he had promised to keep her safe. how could he fail her? how could he let this happen to her? this had to be his fault. it had to be.
all because he liked her. that's the only real reason he wanted to keep her around. he couldn't bear to be away from her. he couldn't bear the idea that she could get hurt somewhere else in the city and he wouldn't be the one to save her. it made him despair.
but look what he had done to her. look what he had caused. he had gotten her hurt. terribly.
his eyes were beginning to water. her pretty face was stained with tears, he wanted to scoop her up in his arms and hold her, make sure he took away her pain.
but that was impossible. he didn't know how.
he hated it, more than anything on the planet. but at this moment he needed Vyn to help him out.
"not without knowing what she was given. the effects could be catastrophic." vyn murmured.
Marius was on the phone with bodyguards. they were going to move Y/n someplace much more secure. but first she would be taken to a von hagen controlled hospital.
