After slipping the note into Janelles book, Joey took a shower before taking a nap. Her phone went off around 5:20 PM, she jolted, reaching over and picking it up.

"Hello?" She said, her voice groggy.

"Were you napping?" Javi's voice came through the phone, Joey perked up a bit.

"Why yes, yes I was. What's up?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Oh, yeah know, nothing much," He inhaled before practically screaming in her ear. "Other than the fact that you and Johnny are DATING,"

She groaned, burying her face into her pillow. So much for telling him together, she thought.

"Right, yeah um, listen Javi I can explain-"

"Oh he told me everything," He said harshly, interrupting her, she waited for his response. "I knew you could play dirty but using Johnny for coffee and bagels is low,"

She gave a muffled chuckle, sitting up and stretching out her wing.

"Yeah, believe me, I'm only doing this for free coffee, and so you don't have to choose between us. So really I'm doing it for you, buddy,"

"Oh, well aren't you sweet. Dating my best friend so we can hangout, a true icon you are," He mocked, they both laughed. "So that means you're coming to our party this Friday?"

"Yes, I have to," She sighed.

"Here's some advice, show up like 30 minutes to an hour early, help us set up that way you don't get overwhelmed by the monsters and music."

"Ok, thanks Javi, I'm really glad you're okay with this and on my side," Joey smiled into the phone.

"You've done more for me than you'll ever know, I'm more than capable of keeping your secret," He chuckled softly. "Unlike your secret," He mumbled. Joey cringed.

"I wanted to tell you about my Aunt, Javi, I swear, I just didn't know how and I wanted to make sure you were friends with me because-"

"Because of who you are not who you're related too, I know that speech. When you and Johnny were in the hospital I talked with her about it,"

"You did?" Joey cringed, hoping he really did understand.

"Yes, and we're cool, don't worry. You know, you should have a little more faith in your friends, Joey,"

"Yeah, you're right, anyway, I'm going over to my Aunts house, night Javi, I'll see you on Friday," She stood, picking up her backpack and putting her textbooks in it.

"Alright, see you later, Joey, good night," He said, hanging up the phone.

She pulled on her Greek Council jacket, stuffing her phone into her pocket before putting her bag over her shoulder.

She left a small note for Janelle saying where she was and headed over to the administration's office.

She saw her Aunt leaving the building and ran over to her car. They chatted about classes and schoolwork on the drive.

"How about Spaghetti for dinner?" Her Aunt asked, parking her car in front of the house.

"That's fine," Joey said with a smile, getting out of the car. Her Aunt went right to the kitchen to cook, while Joey sat in the living room.

They had dinner, bid each other goodnight and went to bed.

Joey woke up the next morning, dreading the end of the day. She had eggs and toast with her Aunt.

"I'm going to hangout with some friends after class so I probably won't stay here with you, I might just stay at my dorm," Joey said, taking a large sip of her orange juice.
