This chapter takes place before the Christmas one in terms of the time line.

The ride home was fairly long, but the warm clear skies, windows down, and music blaring from the radio always made it worth while.
Javi and Joey laughed and chatted the entire way, as they always did. It was nice for Joey to see Javi finally letting go, finally acting like his true self.
"Do you ever visit the ROR house over break? Or is it just a school thing?" Joey asked, bobbing her head to the music.
"Sometimes, but only if we forgot something or all of us planned on meeting, it's mostly a school thing," He shrugged.
"It's like a summer house!" Joey laughed.
"It kinda is!" Javi laughed with her, shaking his head before turning back to the road.
They danced and sang to a few more songs on the radio before Javi turned down their road.
The houses were made our of stones and bricks and looked very fancy. With tall pillars and pointed rooves this was definitely the "rich" neighborhood.
"Here we are," Joey announced looking out her window at her tall white house.
"Home sweet home," Javi answered with with eye roll. He parked the car in his parents driveway, they got out and started to unpack the trunk.
"Javi!" Javi's front door flew open as his sister ran out with her arms open wide.
"Hey!" He smiled wide, hugging her back, she had four arms like he did but only had 2 large pink eyes.
"Hey Joey," She said, letting go of Javi and opening her arms for Joey.
"Hey, Harper, good to see you," Joey said hugging her tightly, they had bonded last year during her gap year.
Joey considered Harper a little sister, they spent the whole last summer together.
"Alright, alright," Javi dramatically pulled them apart with a laugh, "we have to unpack, Harper,"
Harper made a sad face and pulled away, stepping away from the trunk. Joey grabbed her backpack and tote bag, hauling them on her arms and turning towards her house.
Taking out her keys she unlocked the front door. Her parents never got home until late, so she had a few hours to relax.
Her house was big and large with dark hardwood floor and gray walls. She climbed up the stairs, took a left and opened her bedroom door.
It was mostly how she left it, there were fresh sheets on the bed, and a note on the pillow.
"We knew you'd come home when we're at work so I made your bed and put a sandwich in the fridge - love mom"
Joey chucked softly, placing her bags on the bed.
She unpacked her clothing, folding them neatly into her dresser next to her bed. She put her text books on the tall bookcase she had next to the window looking out the front of the house.
It felt nice to be home, but she did find herself missing school...and the frat guys.
Several hours passed as Joey lounged around her house, getting her sandwich and watching some T.V before her parents came home.
"Joey! Are you here, honey?" Her mother called out into the house, putting her keys in a sma bowl by the door.
"Kitchen!" She called back, washing off her dish.
