The ROR's walked back to their house, talking to themselves about what they had to do to set up for the party.

"Hey here's an idea, how about instead of pushing the couches across the house, you just leave them," Joey said as they reached the front door. Chip held the handle and turned to the others who burst out laughing.

They all moved to separate parts of the house to get ready, Joey followed Johnny to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"We did good today, Johnny," Joey said, taking a large gulp. Johnny was silent, not looking at her, it was clear he was upset.

"We came in second because I fell," He said, looking at the bottom of his cup.

"At least we didn't come in last, or third. I mean we're still in the games, that's good. You gotta think of the positives, Johnny," Putting her cup down she wrapped her arms around his, resting her head on his shoulder.

He sighed, gulping down the rest of his water and turning towards her, taking her hands in his.

"How are you so positive all the time?" He gave a small laugh, running his thumbs over the top of her hands. Once again, Johnny leaned towards her, Joey closed her eyes.

"Oh come on guys!" Chip walked into the doorway, throwing his hands up in annoyance. "In the kitchen?" He grumbled, turning on his heels and walking down the hallway.

Johnny and Joey laughed for a moment, Joey took a step back, removing their hands.

"I'm going to go freshen up in the bathroom," She said, leaving him alone.

Once in the bathroom she locked the door and sighed, holding her face in her hands. The arrangement was getting out of hand, that was twice now that they had tried to kiss each other after they specifically agreed not to. It had started to feel like a real relationship, not a ruse.

Joey turned on the faucet, bending down and splashing herself with cold water. She had to get things under control.

The once silent house was now alive with dancing monsters, music, and flashing lights.

Joey was playing cards with Chip, Javier, and two monsters she didn't know, in the dining room. A small crowd had gathered around them, talking and betting on who would win.

"Take that boys!" She placed down her cards, with a laugh, the others groaned, throwing their cards in anger.

"When did you get good at cards?" Javi asked with a laugh. Chip grumbled, taking a sip of his soda.

"On my year off, your dad and mine taught me since you weren't there to play with them," She laughed as he rolled his eyes, picking up the cards and shuffling them.

"Okay, who wants to play again?" He asked, Chip and the two monsters agreed, along with Reggie. Joey was going to agree when Carrie Williams, the president of PNK, grabbed her arm.

"Sorry to interrupt, but can I borrow you for a moment? You know, girl talk," Her smile was exaggerated, her sharp teeth showing. Joey gave an awkward smile and agreed, Carrie led her out of the room and onto the back porch where the other PNK members were.

"I'm so glad that we finally have a moment alone to talk," Carrie said, pulling Joey to sit on the steps with the others.

"You've been wanting to talk to me?" Joey asked, feeling incredibly nervous being surrounded by them.

"Uh yes,"

"Obviously,"

"You are Johnny's #1 girl," They all said at once, they all had the same sounding voice, high pitched and very fake.
